Jihoon's eyes widened and he finally pushed her away.

"W-What? What do you mean by that, grandma?" he stuttered.

She giggled and looked at Jihoon with a creepy grin, "Silly boy! You still don't get it? I'm your blind date!!" she cheered.

Jihoon and I both looked at her in shock, clearly taken aback by her words.

"SAY WHAT????!!!!!"

And so, out of kindness, Jihoon agreed to have a meal with this "blind date" - who is literally old enough to be his grandma.

I couldn't help but chuckle as Jihoon awkwardly tried to avoid all her flirtatious advances.

She was literally all over him.

Which was the complete opposite of the previous blind date, who didn't even show the slightest bit of interest in Jihoon.

Huh. Who would've thought that old ladies would fall for Jihoon's charm more than girls his age would?

Jihoon attempted to start a conversation, "So..uhm...what's your name?"

She smiled, "Miranda. Miranda Yang."

"Ah I see. My name is Park Jihoon, but I'm sure you already knew that haha," Jihoon nervously chuckled.

She nodded, "Of course I knew that, honey!! I practically know everything about you hehe~ In fact, the moment I saw your photo, you looked so handsome I fell in love at first sight!!"

Jihoon gulped, "Uhh cool haha...but in your photo, you looked a lot younger..."

She giggled and waved her hand in dismissal, "Oh that! That was a picture of me back when I was 20~ I haven't taken a selfie in a while so I didn't quite have any recent pictures to show you, darling~"

"Oh...so how old are you?" Jihoon quietly asked.

This made her face change immediately. Her expression turned from friendly into a deep frown.

She glowered, glaring daggers into Jihoon's eyes, "Honey...you do know that it's not polite to ask a lady her age?"

Jihoon panicked, "O-Oh I'm sorr-"

She smiled, "But if you must know...I'm 82."

Jihoon gave her a forced smile, "Oh...I'm 20.."

I facepalmed. Wow. She was literally 62 when he was born.

I'm honestly at a loss for words.

It seems like we have a catfish on our hands.

For the next few minutes, neither of them spoke to each other and the air was filled with awkward tension.

The only sound that could be heard was the harsh slurping and chewing of the lady as she gobbled down the food.

Jihoon, on the other hand, was playing with his food. He seemed unsure of what to do next.

I sympathized with him.

There's no way I'm letting Jihoon marry someone's grandmother.

I'm sure she must be a sweet lady, but this whole situation just ain't it.
