a new decade, a new blank page.
take your brush, paint it with your thoughts;
the colourful ones so you won't get bored,
monochromatic, it's simpler.
a new year, a better you, a better me.
may the first rainy day bring you joy,
and your sunny days brighten up your life.
nights of deep slumber,
of dreams that make you smile,
not of the ones that make you cry.
there is a day beyond this night,
don't be afraid to wake up,
but be scared of losing yourself.
the pains in the past will heal you,
and nothing could tear you apart.
alone on your own,
don't let the silence of the ocean
surrounds you,
you'll find home
when you look at the stars,
and those who love you
will always guide you.
