Listening to "I will" by The Beatles reminds me of Kate, because she could ask me to bring her the moon and its stars and I would.
With just a few more days approaching for our birthday, I have managed to make Kate believe that it will be impossible for us to spend it together.
I saw the disappointment on her sweet face, but I can't ruin the surprise. As much as I hate seeing Kate upset, I will have to endure it until her birthday party. Steph managed to find me and contact me to fill me in on the surprise without alerting the birthday girl.
I know it's going to be my birthday too, but I could care less.
Sharing a birthday with Kate makes my birthday special for once in my life.
Knowing Kate, she might cry. I have gotten to know that she cries a lot. And it doesn't frighten me at all.
She really does tend to cry whenever she's hurt or really touched, that's one thing I love about her. She doesn't hide what she is feeling in that moment. At least, most of the time, when she is not protecting herself.
For the surprise to really succeed, I need to convince her that I will be out of town so she doesn't suspect anything and erase all doubts she has.
