the ride in mattias car had been silent until he spoke up, "you could of told me, kai." 

kairi stayed quiet. he really couldnt have. "ykno i love you right?" mattia said in a calming voice, staring at kairi. 

"i know..." kairi mumbled, thinking mattia was just being friendly. he could feel mattia gazing at him. "thanks for being a good friend,"

mattia knew kairi was hurting, so he didnt comment on himself being considered 'a good friend' and nothing else, but he definitely thought bout it.

kai silently cried, facing the window. 

"homie, you gotta stop hiding shit." mattia said in a deep voice, looking at kairi. "look at me, its okay," 

mattia softly grabbed kairis jaw, looking at him. "he aint gon hurt you no more,"

kairi flinched a lil. there was some weird ass vibes going round. kairi pulled away, "mattia, i really-"

 "oh shit, im so sorry.." mattia snapped back, running his hand thru his hair, stressed. "i kno youre going thru something and i-"

"its fine..." kairi started.

"no, its not, kairi. im jus being stupid..."

they sat in silence.

mattia kept driving in silence for a few minutes til he reached a hotel. "you down to stay here?" mattia asked kairi.

"yea, thats good. ion bring enough money tho," kairi said, shifting in his seat.

"thats cool," mattia said. "youll be paying for it later, anways." the italian boy said, winking.

for the first time in months, kairi laughed. 

"its real good to see yo cute ass laugh." mattia paused, "aight," mattia parked quickly, "lets go,"

for the first time in months, kairi was somewhat happy.
