The next morning I woke up to my alarm. I took Kota out potty before feeding her and getting ready. I showered and got ready before getting into the car. I put a blanket down on the passenger seat where Kota was curled up asleep. After waiting in traffic I eventually made it to the airport and was waiting outside. A few of the boys walked out first seeing me and waving. I was holding Kota and most of them came over to say hi. "Does Cody know?" Corey said holding her. "Nope I'm about to die." I said. Cody walked out confused as to why everyone was standing around. "What did you do babe?" He said walking over confused. "I love you." I said smiling. "Scarlett." He said. Corey handed Kota back to me. "I bought a dog." I said making Cody's eyes widen. "You did what." He said looking at Kota. "Meet Kota." I said as she licked my chin. He put his bag down and grabbed her. "Hi baby." He said kissing her head. She nuzzled her head into his hoodie making me smile. "Ok now I can't be mad." He said smiling. "Welcome home." I said. "It's a she?" He asked. "Yep." I said. We said goodbye to the boys and Cody got into the car. "I can't believe you got a dog." He said. "I know but she is so sweet babe I couldn't not get her." I said. "And you named her Kota." He said smiling. "She's our baby now." I said as Cody was holding my hand. "Our?" He asked. "We are officially dog parents." I said. "I'm not mad about it." He said. We eventually made it home and Cody got out. Kota went potty as he grabbed his suitcase. We walked inside and Cody put his stuff down. "I'm glad your back." I said as he wrapped his arms around me. "Hi." I said hugging him. He leaned down and kissed me. We hung out around the house until Cody had to leave. He kissed me goodbye and petted Kota. "You coming later?" He asked. "Yup Mady is taking me." I said. "Ok see you later babe." He said walking out into the garage. I hung out for a bit until I got ready for the game. I put on leggings and one of Cody's sweatshirts. I put Kota in her crate before walking outside and getting into Madys car. We dove to the stadium and parked before getting out and walking inside to find our seat. I decided to post a picture on Instagram.

I responded to a few comments until the game started. They ended up winning 2-1. I hugged Mady goodbye and walked towards Cody's bmw. I waited a little while until he came out showered. "Good job baby." I said as he hugged me. "Thank you for being here." He said kissing my forehead. "You alright bubs?" I asked him. "Just thankful." He said. "Well I would rather be here with you than anywhere else." I said. Cody grabbed my hand linking our hands together as he walked inside. "Where are we going?" I said as we walked. "You'll find out." He said. After a few minutes cody led me onto the field. I stopped making him look back at me. "Your fine babe everyone left before me because I showered last the only people here are the workers who are finishing up come on." He said grabbing my other hand. He grabbed 2 gloves and a ball. "What are you doing?" I said laughing as he handed me a glove and a ball. "You do know I played softball and my brother has played baseball since he was little correct?" I added. "Let's see it." He said walking farther away from me. Once he was stopped I pitched the ball. It was better than expected especially since it had been a few years. Cody had the ball in his glove and his eyes were wide. "Damn babe." He said as he pitched the ball back. I caught it in my glove and we did that for a while until I called it quits. "How the fuck do you guys do that for hours jesus." I said stretching out my shoulder as Cody walked back over to me. "Your good baby." He said wrapping his arm around my waist. "Can we get food?" I asked making him laugh. "No nevermind I want ice cream." I said quickly. "You know I can never turn down ice cream." Cody said as we walked back to the car. We walked into target and bought a tub of ice cream. We eventually made it home and walked inside. I let kota out of her cage which she was asleep in. After we ate our ice cream Cody went in the backyard to play with Kota. I walked outside and sat down with him. "I just realized we have never used the pool since we began dating we live in California and Arizona babe." I said laughing. "I don't know what your talking about." Cody said sarcastically. I got up putting my phone near the grill. I took off my shirt making Cody smirk. I took off my leggings and walked towards the pool. "Are you actually going in the pool?" He asked. "Yep." I said jumping in. I had my head against the side of the pool as Cody was talking to me. "Are you seriously not going to come in?" I said. "Nope sorry bubs." He said laughing. "I haven't seen you in 8 days get your ass in the pool Cody bellinger." I said laughing. "I have been gone for 8 days and you got a dog." He said. "I know but you love her so shush now get in the pool." I said. "No can do." He said. "Cody James Bellinger I swear to god I will push you in if I have to." I said. "Oh shit you used my middle name." He said laughing.
