He never did visit, or even write.

He never found the time.

"Okay. We've gotten word that the Hero is around here."
She nodded.
"Got it."
"If you find him, kill him."
She nodded again.
"Right."
"Get your disguise on and let's go."
"Okay."

She quickly changed into her disguise and started walking around the stable.
He was blonde, with blue eyes. Classic pretty boy. Ugh.

Then, she spotted him.

Well, she mostly noticed his wonderful smile. And his eyes. Like sapphires. And his hair. Beautiful.

All she could do was stare.
She couldn't kill him.
He seemed too... sweet.
Too nice to be as terrible as they say.

He laughed.
What a lovely laugh that was.

She shook her head. She was being stupid. But when she looked back up, he was gone.

And she was glad. She didn't want to do it. She never really agreed much with the tales they told.
Why did they worship something so bent on destruction? Why were they so hostile towards something so beautiful and fragile? So nice? So...

She shook her head again. Why was she thinking like this? It couldn't be good. She was getting soft.

"Hey. Did you find him?"
"Uh... no. Didn't see him."
"Ah. Well, we better get searching."

"No! Not Layla!"
"You have wronged us. You have abandoned Master Kohga. You have abandoned Ganon. You deserve this."
"No! Please, don't hurt her. Torture me! Kill me! Anything! Just don't touch her."
"You know I can't do that. I was given explicit orders. And they weren't to hurt you."
"Please... I'll do anything... tell him I'm sorry. I promise I won't do it again."
"Promises mean nothing here. You'll have to watch your sister suffer for now."

"Hey! Get away from my brother! don't you see that you're upsetting him?"
"Ha! Bold of you to assume that that isn't our goal."
"I'm gonna hecking kill you! Scram! I have a knife!"

"Ailey... you didn't have to do that. I'm fine. Really."

Dear Ailey and Mom,
The castle is huge. I've gotten lost several times now.
My room is wonderful. It's a bit bigger than I'm used to, but I'll get used to it.
I'm almost finished carving that wooden horse. I'll send it to you soon.
The carving knife you got me for my birthday is amazing. I think this is the best sculpture I've done yet.
The Princess is quite nice. I'm not sure how she feels about me.
I haven't gotten in touch with Dad much recently. I only ever see him during training.
I'm sorry that I haven't visited. I've been very busy as of late, and I
