A world filled with wonder and mystery similar to ours, only a bit more magical. Join our protagonist in the medieval times. An alchemist living secluded from the populace with his recently appointed apprentice is hired to investigate mysterious disappearances in a nearby village. We follow the story of the alchemist's apprentice who is appointed to aid his master in his investigation and dreams of becoming as great and wise a man as his master. The duo finds that the disappearances are quite peculiar and might be connected to a bigger agenda than just petty murders or kidnappings. There is a sinister mood between all the towns folk and most things might not be as they seem. As the apprentice tries to discover the secret behind all the disappearances he also strives to unravel the three year gap in the towns history in which there is no record of the town ever even existing.
