Inuyasha's P.O.V.
I sprinted toward the scent of Izumi, of that boy, and of a powerful demon, Kagome on my back. Sango, Miroku, Daiki, Haruka, Haruki, and Shippo were close behind us, riding atop of Kirara. Izumi was in trouble, I could sense it. We went into the Inuyasha forest, only for the scent of Izumi and the boy to get stronger. Izumi's scent was faint, also, it was mixed with the demon's scent too.
"Inuyasha, I sense Atsushi's demon aura in front of us." I nodded at my wife's voice. When I find that lion boy...if he got my Izumi into trouble...I'll kill 'em. I growled to myself, but Kagome could hear me,
"Inuyasha, calm down please." she clutched my Cloth-of-the-Fire-Rat robe and whispered softly into my ear. I smirked and kept moving.
Atsushi's P.O.V.
I had been walking for hours, finally, I lost her scent...along with most of my hope. I almost had another breakdown, but I heard a voice,
"Atsushi!" Mrs. Higarashi ran up to me and squeezed me as if I was her long lost son that she hadn't seen in years. Inuyasha just gave me an 'I'm gonna kill you' look. I didn't care though. Mrs. Higarashi's embrace was so warm, so gentle, just like Izumi's. At that thought, the thought of my best friend, I began to sob into Mrs. Higarashi's kimono. Clutching the white fabric, I buried my face into her chest. She soothed me by stroking my orange hair and whispering to me,
"Its okay now, Atsu, it's okay." she smiled when she saw me look up at her chocolate eyes. When I did, her face reminded me so much of Izumi's. A wall of tears covered my eyes as I kept thinking about Izumi. Mrs. Higarashi smiled again, but this time, with worry and sadness in her eyes.
"Atsushi, where is Izumi?" Sango, Izumi's aunt asked me as she jumped off of Kirara, her demon cat.
"I-I don't know..." I mumbled as I hung my head.
"What happened, Atsushi?" Miroku, Izumi's uncle asked while following his black-haired wife by getting off of kirara. My orange bangs covered my eyes, I didn't want to talk about it, but I had to, it was the only way I could help,
"There-there was a demon that took her..." my voice trailed off.
"WHAT?!?!" Inuyasha started to scream at me "YOU LET A DEMON TAKE HER!!??" tears streamed down my cheeks as I clutched my fists,
"I'm-I'm so so-sorry...I tr-tried to s-save her, but--" I couldn't finish, I was too ashamed of what I did. And yet, I call myself a friend...
Kagome's P.O.V.
I couldn't let go of him, I was way too worried about him, along with Izumi. He was almost my own son, I had to worry, for his own sake. The was he hugged me...he was terrified by whatever happened between Izumi and that demon.
Sango's P.O.V.
Atsushi has been part of our small family for a while now, and he has always been cheerful and happy, especially around Izumi. The same goes for Izumi. Also, it gives her someone to be with when Haruka, Haruki, and Daiki aren't with her. My children love him, he is like their real cousin. He is pretty much my nephew too, and that's why, I feel bad when he looks this way.
"Atsushi, we'll help you get her back." Miroku put his arm around my shoulder, playfully after he finished helping the kids off of Kirara. I smiled as Daiki ran over to Atsushi and threw his arm around his shoulder,
"Yup!! And Ill murder whoever stole my cousin!!!!" he exclaimed.
"Ya! I'll help too, Atsu!!" Haruka jumped up and down, causing her short black hair to bob up and down. Haruki just smirked and looked at Inuyasha, who didn't notice her because he was too busy glaring at Atsushi.
I rolled my eyes at Inuyasha and noticed that Kagome was still holding crying Atsushi. Poor boy. I thought as I rested my head on my husband, Miroku's shoulder.
Atsushi's P.O.V.
They all said they were going to help me. I was happy.
"Okay, Lets go." Sango said, sternly.
"If Izumi was captured by the demon I think she was...we have little time." Miroku pointed out as he, Sango, Daiki, Haruki and Haruka climbed upon Kirara. Shippo turned into his flying form (idk what the hack that pink balloon thing is called XD) and urged me to get on his back. Kagome got back onto Inuyasha's back.
We're on our way, Izumi...wait for me, I'm coming to save you. I Promise.
