Chapter 22

~Sakuya's POV~

I kind of felt bad to just leave Kosa out there without saying anything..

Just the mention of his name, just gets me more curious if he turns out to be my brother.

As I lay my head on the pillow I had, I hear the door creak.

I lift my head from the pillow and see The door opening slowly.

"H-Hey.. Sorry to bother you.."

"It's fine." With his shy voice and brown hair, Kosa sits next to me, closing the door from behind.

"Your dad seems like a nice guy by the way." He smiles.

"Thanks.. But it's not my real dad."

"Really? Why?" I kind of felt bad if I don't share that I was abandoned by my REAL parents.

"Well.. I'm only adopted.. But I'm fine with it.. My REAL parents didn't care for me.."

"Neither did mine."

"Really?"

"Yea. I ran away years ago. How did you end up?"

"I got abandoned in an allyway." He gasps and hugs me tight.

"I'm so sorry! That must be a bad life if you lived like that!" He lets go.

"It's fine.. I guess I just didn't have much to live for.."

"No no! You needed more than just living alone in a dump.."

"How was your life then..?" He thinks about it..

.. Finally, he answers. "Well.. I lived with no one.. I wanted to have my brother with me though.."

"So.. About your brother.. Was he a good one..?"

"Of course, he was! He gave me proper food, water, life.. But.. I left the house, leaving him.." He digs his face into his palms of his hands.

I pat his back. I pull him into a hug after.

He tears up, soaking my shoulder.

I see the picture I had next to me.

I grab it. I set Kosa, sitting on the bed towards me.

"This is how my brother and I look like when young.." I don't see what's wrong to not show him the picture.

"T.. That is.."

"Hm? Something wrong?" He tears up, staring at me wide eyes.

"Is it really you.. Sakuya..?" By the time he says that, I tear up a bit.

"K-Kosa.."

"I missed you!" He hugs me tight.

Tears drip onto his hair. I couldn't hold back my tears.

From what I've just found.. Made me the happiest person..

I hug Kosa tight. I actually get to see my brother again..

"But.. I thought you died or something.."

"Of course not! I wanted to live to see you again.."

"Well.. I'm glad you did that.." I pat his head.

"This is adorable." A voice suddenly appears.

We both stop hugging, standing up from the bed.

"Boo." Dreadlox comes out of my shadows.

"Gah!" Kosa tenses up and hides behind me.

"Whoa. I'm nice. Don't worry." Dreadlox raises his shadow hand.

I feel Kosa shaking as he's behind me.

"It's fine Kosa." I pat his head.

He slowly walks out from behind me.

"Who's that?" Brittney then opens the door.

"This is Kosa. My little brother."

"Seriously?! Did Martin or Mr. Ryan adopted another child?"

"No! This is my real little brother.. And I'm glad to have him back." I hug him.

"Aww.." Brittney just takes a flash of her phone of us. "Bromance."

"Oh shush!" Kosa giggles a little.

Until I thought hugging was enough, he kisses my cheek.

"Bromance." Brittney repeat.

I did blush a little, but I was still glad Kosa was back.

Though, I'm not sure how Martin and Ryan is gonna accept me if I put him in the family too.

"Martin and Ryan will accept."

"Wait what?" I stare at Dreadlox.

"Remember? MIND READING?"

"Oh." I just giggle a little, rubbing the back of my head.

After a few weeks, Kosa and I have been hanging around a lot now.

He's beginning to go to my school now.

At least I get some time with him.

I just hope this moment will never end.

I'm so sorry that I haven't been updating so much! I've just been very busy with exams. Plus, I got a new PC to use, and if you wonder how I chat without the computer, I just use my Kindle to do it. Anyways! Hope you enjoyed! Sorry for any mistakes! See ya! ^.^
