EXTRA 5 [3/3]: Melon Bros, Melon Lovers

~Simon's POV~

This is embarrassing! People kept staring at us as if in disgust or as if they think we were on a date!

I wanted to let go of Bashur's hand, but his hand wraps my hand like a blanket, warming it up.

No use, the warmth of his hand just makes me not wanna let go.

I felt strange. I don't have the answer.

Why was I acting like this?

For all I know, I need to focus on the wedding, including the birthday.

But with this sudden moment, it's blocked with the feeling of warmth of Bashur's hand.

We finally arrived at Bodil's house after a silent walk down the noisy streets of Bulgaria.

"Howdy love birds~!" Bodil's shows up instantly, already teasing.

I finally got the urge to shake Bashur's hand off successfully.

Bodil continues his teasing session, Double joining afterwards.

Dreadlox shows up suddenly. "Who wants to help with me and the others with decorations for the wedding and birthday?"

Bashur raises his hand, forcing mine as well.

I didn't feel the mood to go outside again. I just wanted to rest at Bashur's place or Baki's.

But oh, Bashur just had to raise my hand. I didn't wanna go into rage, so I went with it and there goes me, standing in front of the place where the wedding and birthday is gonna take place.

While the rest goes in, I remain at the entrance sitting, laying against the cold door with my phone, playing Flappy Bird.

I rage a few times, but I tried to keep it in so it wouldn't be embarrassing if someone found me raging.

While looking down at my phone, I see someone's feet, indicating someone was in front of me.

I look up, familiar eyes staring down at me.

~Bashur's POV~

We all had our jobs. I got the job of setting up streamers.

Just when I was about to pin another strip of streamer, I remembered about to Simon.

I look over to the entrance, there sits the little rage boy I know.

I giggle each time he rages a little. I can tell he was playing Flappy Bird with the sound effects and all.

I asked for Trent to do the streamers for me while I go talk to Simon.

I stand in front of Simon. As he faces his face up to mine, I blush a bit.

"What do you want?" He sound unusual than what he usually sounded.

"Just wondering is something was wrong. You don't really seem yourself today." I pat his head.

He grabs my hand away, glaring at me with lonely-like black eyes. "I'm fine."

"C'mon. You're not. I can tell." I grab him up, taking him outside, closing the remaining door.

"Let me go!" He tries to get out of my grips.

Before I was about to let them go, I saw tears roaming down his cheeks.

He sniffs. "You just don't stop, do you..?"

"What?" In confusion, I stand there with no clues of what he meant.

He shakes his wrists once more and gets out of my grips.

"WHY CAN'T YOU JUST LEAVE MY LIFE?! I don't see any reason of you caring about me!" He shouts with a scratchy voice.

He dig his face in the palms of his hands.

"I care about you because you're my friend.. I understand how much pain you're going through.."

"TELL ME THEN! DO YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO HAVE PARENTS THAT CARes NO SHIT ABOUT YOU AND ABANDON YOU?!" He shouts in his palms.

"No.. But I understand the pain. That's what I know.." I pull Simon into my arms.

I take his hands away. I wipe the remaining tears.

I unwrap my arms around him, smiling.

"Now c'mon. We all need to help get the wedding and birthday ready for tomorrow."

As I was about to walk back, Simon grabs my wrist. "W-Wait!"

I stare back, confused. "Yes?"

He had a slight blush. He looks away and lets go.

"Never mine.. Forget about it.. Let's just get inside."

"Right.. One more thing."

He looks straight at me. I grabbed him and kiss him on the lips.

He looked surprised at the sudden movement.

I guess I did truly cared for him. Love him for that matter.

I stop and he just hugs me.

Smiling, I carry him on my back inside.
