Chapter 7 [Christmas Special]

~Bodil's POV~

I was perfectly happy that I had Double beside me for Christmas.

Yet again, Ashley hasn't called or come home.

I said I never falled in love because I asked Ashley out because I wanted someone to date me once, so that happened.

I never really did fall in love with her.

Though, I felt worried for her. Sure, I didn't really like her, but it doesn't mean I don't need to worry.

~Ring~

~Ring~

I pick up my phone and answer it.

"Hi Martin!" yelled Ashley.

"Why haven't you called me in awhile?" I asked, concerned. "It's been 2 months. What have you been doing?"

"Oh? I haven't call you much? Well.. I w-was.." mumured Ashley, cutting off.

I know something was going on.

"You were what?" I asked.

"I-I was.. Doing my mother's job. Yea! Doing my mother's job! Hehe.." stuttered Ashley.

"Please come back for Christmas," I said, feeling a bit worried.

"I will try," responded Ashley.

I hang up, going to the kitchen for some cookies.

When I open the refrigerator, I saw a note on the back. I took it and it was Ashley that wrote it.

It was pretty old since it was wrote ever since Ashley went away.

I open it, surprised at what it says.

My eyes went wide, making me run into my room, locking it.

I just lay down, depressed. Why..? For once, I'm upset.

"Bodil?" said someone, knocking on my door.

I sit up straight to not stutter through my words.

"Oh. D-Double? It's okay. I'm just t-tired.." I said. "Can you go? I'm gonna sleep for awhile.."

"Oh.. Okay," said Double, hearing the footsteps disappear.

I just lay in bed wanting something to make me better.

~Double's POV~

I went to the kitchen and just sits down on a stool eatting some cookies.

What got Bodil upset?

That question kept going through my head, not knowing what the answer could be.

In the corner of my eye, I saw a little note on the ground. I pick it up and read it. My eyes went wide.

"W-What..? Is she serious?" I asked myself.

"Who's serious?" said Brittney, sitting beside me.

How did she get here so fast? Never mine.

"Oh? Well, it looks like Ashley, Bodil's girlfriend, broke up with him. She said he's been working on YouTube instead of hanging out with her," I explained.

I noticed Brittney had a serious look on her face.

"How could she.. Leave my own brother?!" yelled Brittney, slamming her fists against the kitchen counter.
