•He is..... dense as hell

•It would take him quite a while to even realize he had feelings for you, at first he'd just be annoyed that he feels so strange, and only when you're around, So he'd get a little more standoffish.

•Eventually he'd start getting curious, "Why do I feel this way? And why only around them?"

•He never really saw much romantic love and has zero personal experience. He barely even understands what love is, he only really cares about his sister and his relationship with Dazai isn't really a good reference point

•Eventually he might ask someone(but only someone he trusts) why he felt this way. Was he allergic to you or something?

•When the idea that he might care for you in a romantic way comes up he's honestly...... confused. "Is this what love feels like? Is this even love? How can I tell if it's love?"

•Once the reality sets in, he'll start doubting himself. He'll get more distant, you'll just get hurt if he doesn't.

•On the outside it'll just look like he needs his space, but internally he has a million thoughts running through his head. Why does seeing you happy make him want to be happy? He still doesn't fully understand

•Eventually he'll start getting annoyed and be a little more rude to you. Don't take it personally, he's just a conflicted tsundere. He's not used to feeling vulnerable, and he doesn't like it

•His feelings become more clear to him on a mission. He almost gets shot and you push him out of the way, causing the bullet to hit you in the leg

•He obviously gets angry, how could you be so reckless? But when you reassure him, for the first time in his life he genuinely believes everything will be fine

•He helps you walk back, and when you lean against him for support, his heart beats fast and he has to partially cover his face, for fear that he's blushing.

•On that day he realized that he cared very deeply about you, and so he became determined to protect you. He'll accompany you on missions more often and if anyone looked at you the wrong way, he'd shoot them one of his most terrifying looks of death

•Spending so much time with you, he truly grows to respect and admire you. The more he learns the stronger his feelings get

•One day he decides to finally clear things up. He needs to know just how much he cares. So he asks the person he trusts the most. You

• "How do you tell someone that you.... tolerate them more than others?"

•You raise an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

•He continues, unsure. "How being around them makes things easier. That you.... feel strong emotions for this person?"

•You're a little confused. Until you realize that he means love. That he's in love with someone. This hurts to hear, you'd always admired him, and recently you'd grown closer

• "You mean love?"

• "Is that really love?" He asks hesitantly.

• "Yeah. Love is caring about someone, in a special way. Having each other's back, sharing things, wanting them to be happy."

•That's when you decide to tell him the truth. "Like how I feel about you."

•On the outside his eyes widen a little, but internally there's a lot more going on. You care about him? Love him?

•You turn to walk away. But he grabs your arm. "Then I feel the same. About all of it." He's turned his head and is blushing a little.

•You smile and kiss him. This just makes him blush even more. He eventually returns the kiss, gently and sort of unsure but then passionately  and possessively

•He may not be the best at articulating his feelings, but that was the moment when he felt true happiness
