We get it almost every night
When that moon is big and bright
It's a supernatural delight
Everybody's dancing in the moonlight
The Doctor offered you his hand which you took with a shy smile hidden by the pink of your cheeks.
The dark sky surrounded the pair you, the field was your stage, the moon your spotlight as the pair of you swayed back and forth by the Tardis blue picnic blanket.
Everybody here is out of sight
They don't bark and they don't bite
They keep things loose and they keep 'em tight
Everybody's dancing in the moonlight
The field was deserted, the happy chirping of crickets creating a rhyme for you and the Doctor to dance too. You giggle as the Doctor dips you, placing chaste kisses up your neck.

It's such a fine and natural sight

Your cheeks presses against the Doctors chest as he spins you two around, his trench coat flowing as you two spun, causing a small breeze to shiver up your spine.
You smile in content, the Doctors fingers lace with yours, his thumb subconsciously running over your knuckles.
We like our fun and we never fight
You can't dance and stay uptight

The Doctor leans his cheek on top of your head, you could feel a smile creep onto his lips, your heart flutters.
A time lord, the oncoming storm, a giant softie.

His arms wrap around your waist and yours around his neck. The time lord leans his fore head against yours and looks into your eyes with his old, brown orbs.
The mans face was unreadable, he looked happy and sad all at once. It was almost as if he had done this exact same thing before. Not that you minded, you just wanted to be there with him.

"I love you," he whispers, the words almost silent as he says them with hesitation.
Your eyes widen, those words had never been said before but you knew you felt the same way.

You're smile widens as you took in his uncertainty, his fear of you not reciprocating his feelings.

"I love you too," you whisper back, not daring to raise your voice or disturb the peace surrounding you in the gentle darkness.

The Doctors smile brightens.
He dips you again, a similar giggle to the one earlier escaped your lips. His lips gently danced across your skin, each one light and full of love.

His kisses trail up from your collar bone to your lips, each kiss light but suggestive. He places a final kiss to your lips, this one more passionate than the rest, your tongues dance together.
"God I love you," he mumbles as you fall back onto the picnic blanket.
