It's chaos
Loudness in silence
Then shaking your body
Emotions a wreck
Try to stay together
Everything in a second
It hits square in the chest
Knocking you off your feet
Wanting to cry, then curl in a ball
Nothing is certain
Now it's even less
Not knowing where to turn
Needing a place to go
I am an avalanche
First it's anger, then sadness
Now I'm numb with nothing to say
Nothing to do but stand here
Staring at you
I don't know why
I feel this way
I don't like it, not one bit
To see you standing there
Right there, next to her
What I feel, I can't
I won't try to explain
Because it's never easy
To say what you feel
Or to be what you say
