Chapter 33 ♔

I stayed still and didn't kiss back, as I was still in shock.

Wow...he's really drunk, isn't he? He never does this...except for when he's drunk.

A few seconds later, I finally adjusted and started kissing back. 

Sure, he may be intoxicated and I could taste the alcohol on his lips, but when else am I going to get this kind of opportunity?

Daniel's always busy at work 99% of the time. And when he's home, he's too tired to even notice my existence. 

Since it's already happening, I might as well go with the flow. 

As time passed, our kiss became even more passionate. Our lips were dancing together in synch, trying their best to keep up the spark between us. 

Eventually, Daniel's tongue glided across my lower lip, asking permission for entrance. I hesitantly opened my mouth, allowing his tongue to enter inside.

I closed my eyes as I felt his tongue gracefully explore my wet cavern. 

And let me say this, it tickled. It really tickled. So much so that I felt like bursting out in laughter.

Suddenly, I felt Daniel's entire body go limp. It's as if he lost all his energy. He pulled away from the kiss and dropped his head onto my shoulder once again. This time, he placed his entire body weight on me.

I staggered back a bit due to all the weight being placed on me and reached out to grab his arms to balance myself. 

I looked down at Daniel in curiosity. Seriously, what is up with him?

But once I saw his face, I realized he had passed out. His eyes were closed shut and his erratic breathing had slowed down significantly. 

I looked around to see if anyone else was around to lend me a hand, but the entire mansion was empty.

Looks like everybody had either gone to their rooms or fallen asleep. Even Aunt Linda.

I sighed and proceeded to wrap my around Daniel's waist. 

Looks like I'm gonna have to do this alone. Time to channel out my inner Superwoman skills.

With all the strength in my body, I dragged Daniel up the stairs and down the hallway towards his room. 

Despite the minor bumps and trips along the way, he didn't budge and continued to remain fast asleep. 

Dang...what kind of alcohol is he drinking? I think I need some too. But then again, I'm pure and I don't drink lol.

Once I finally reached his room, I gently placed Daniel down on his King-sized bed. 

Phew! He sure is heavy!  I thought as I panted heavily as if I just ran a marathon.

After finally catching my breath, I grabbed the silk blanket and tucked it around Daniel's body.

I heard him sigh in relief, probably due to the comfortable warmth enveloping him.

I smiled and leaned down to place a gentle kiss on his forehead, brushing away the wild strands of hair from his eyes at the same time.

Then I pulled back and observed his face. He looked so serene and peaceful...completely opposite from his drunk demeanour earlier today lol.

After taking one last look at Daniel, I was about to leave until I heard Daniel's voice once again. 

I turned around and walked towards the bed, curious to hear the type of things Daniel says in his sleep.

"Ah-no...w-we can't sign the deal with your company...Mr. Frazer...the investment won't work.." he breathed out.

I quietly chuckled and raised my eyebrow in amusement. So he even thinks about work in his sleep? Talk about dedicated.

"Ugh...no Seongwoo. Y-You can't borrow my car. Get your own, man..." Daniel murmured again. 

Okay...so he dreams about Seongwoo too. What's next?

"Aunt Linda...here you go. I-I made you some tea. Black and bitter, just how you like it..."

I rolled my eyes. Seriously, he even dreams about Aunt Linda too? 

He might as well just dream about the whole world at this point.

Feeling bored, I turned around to leave once again, until I heard something that caught my ears.

"Y/N~ my wife Y/N~ don't go out with other men please...I hate it. D-Don't leave me Y/N...I love you~" he whispered, before falling into a deep sleep at last.
