Chapter 2: I'll love you forever.

Here we go. It's almost time to walk down this dreaded aisle. I feel so Claustrophobia with everyone so crowded around me. I went to go peek out side, I told them just to see how the wedding came together; like how many people are there and stuff like that. But what I was really doing was trying to find an escape route. I wasn't looking frantically all over; it was like I was just looking at the guest. Occasionally they would wave or smile and I'd just give them a wave or a warm smile. I hope my smile didn't look as crazy as I felt. Then they had to redo make up and hair. Which I absolutely hated. Zack knew I hated being all girlish. Mom and David had no clue. Oh, god. It's time. CRAP! I didn't expect them to have bride's maids on the side of me basically holding me down. I have to find a way out. I got to the spot where David was standing. No, no, no. It couldn't be this way for my life. I know what you're thinking, just divorce him. But I can't. My mom made a retarded legal document stating that we can not divorce at all. only if David wanted to divorce me, then that would be my only chance. That'll never happen, because David has always been a goodie-two-shoe with his parents. I can't believe this! They're such jerks! Wait, I remember something. When dad walked me down the aisle..... He gave me a note. I completely forgot about that. My father is against this all the way. He's even fought with the Washington's and mom. But no budging them. I guess I'll open the note now but casually..... It says, "I object. And so does Zack, don't worry we'll help you make a run for it." A huge smile came across my face. As soon as I heard Zack's name, I couldn't help but smile more. He really did love me as much as I loved him. The minister started..... But I wasn't paying attention. Then I heard him say "Any objection or hold your peace forever" we waited a minute, then he was about to go on. All the color drained from my face. He didn't come..... I was about to cry. But before the minister or I could do anything, we heard about 30 men; I heard THIRTY MEN say "I OBJECT!" Of course Zack and dad were in the front. My dad and Zack, they just always got along. Dad treated him like he was his own son. I mean don't get me wrong, but don't you think the dads should hate a 12 year olds boyfriend? It's not like I didn't enjoy having them get along but it was just strange. I knew all these guys! Look there's Brian and Jake, Matt, Kenny, Stefan, Damon, Kevin, Nick, Sam, Nate, Peter, Josh, Jon, Joe.... I could go on forever but maybe I shouldn't. Anyways they were all coming down at once. David's family was over whelmed. All you could hear was gasps. Then everything went silent. But not for long, David's family started attacking the guys. Let me tell you, David's family might have looked jacked. But wow! Those 30 guys, they were from the wrestling team, baseball teams, and basket ball teams. They had no chance. Then there was a tall, blonde, pretty girl. Aw, it's Caroline! While David was distracted, Zack and dad came up and got me out of there. We just ran. Zack brought me some comfortable clothes he handed me the bag. THANK GOD! I couldn't stand this dress. He knew me oh so well. We went in 2 separate cars, my dad in his convertible and me and Zack in the mustang. I loved that Mustang! It was bright red with orange flames on it. We booked it out of there so fast, you barley saw us go. We didn't have to go far before me and Zack started kissing. He had to actually pull over........ After that we kept driving and just talking. I changed a little while ago, and it felt like I was at home just relaxing. Even though we were trying to escape, nothing mattered anymore. The only thing that did was that I was with Zack. All I ever thought about was Zack, Zack, and Zack. I wonder if they'll ever find us. I wonder what'll happen if they do or don't. Then we suddenly pulled over. I was about to look and see but Zack's hands covered my eyes. "ZACK WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I said in a voice that almost sounded like a child's voice. I was giggling, just like a 5 year old. Even though Zach was older than me, he made me feel so young. Then he sat me down on a bench. I didn't realize how beautiful it was outside. "It's a lovely day out today!" I said to Zack. He just smiled and said, "that's because your here." I laughed once again and gave him the warmest smile ever. HE just smiled back at me with a big grin. "What are we doing here anyways, shouldn't we be still on the 'run' like prisoners whom just broken from jail?" I asked with an evil smile. Zack always loved my evil smile for some reason. He said it made him feel young. Suddenly Zack got up. Took my hand in his, Reached in his pocket and took something out. I didn't say anything at that moment. I wasn't sure what he was doing. Wait, there are 2 boxes? He opened the longer one, and said, "Here, this is for you, even though nothing can make you anymore beautiful then you already are, but you'll make this more beautiful." It.... It was a da-da-diamond necklace!!! I've always told Zack I wanted one. I didn't know he was going to take me serious and get one! I LOVE HIM! I LOVE HIM AND ONLY HIM! NO one can take that away from me. Not even my mother. Not even god. Or David, NO ONE. Then I just blurted it out of my mouth and said to Zack, "I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!" Tears were almost filling in my eyes. Then Zack kissed me. We just sat there and kissed each other for about 10 minutes. Then he said "If you love me that much then-" he paused, it wasn't a hesitation; it was more like nervousness. "Will you, Elena Snow, become.........." He tried again to see if he could phrase it right, "Elena, will you marry me?" Zack said the words I've been waiting to hear since I was 12. I was all chocked up I couldn't get the words out. I just nodded my head and my mouth was opened so wide I was afraid I would break my jaw. Then a huge smile came across his face. "Now no one can stop us from being together." He said. "Let's do it now." I said. He knew exactly what I meant. We were going to get married now. Nothing is going to stop us. I don't care if only Dad comes and Brian. I only care that were going to be together. Have children, and then be grandparents. I know I am getting ahead of myself. But I've been thinking about this for awhile..... "Let's go Elena" said Zack. Then we both gave each other a quick kiss and ran to the car. "Where should we go?" I asked. And he said "The Hard Rock hotel, it's closest and you don't have to have an appointment there, u can just pay up front and get married." Then I said, "Sounds great to me, as long as I'm with you, does dad and Brian know?" Zack told me that he already has my dad, Brian, Tammy, Brian's wife Bonnie and then his parents there already. "You really do think ahead, don't you?" Zack, being weird like usually, "You bet your bottoms honey!" Then he put his foot on the gas, and we were going 100 down the highway. Surprisingly we didn't get caught by any cops. Lucky us! As soon as we got there, I jumped out. We weren't even at a complete stop. But I didn't care. We were almost there.... almost. "David?" I said...Zack and I were shocked! He still had a tuxedo on; it was like Zack's. Oh, I completely forgot about Zack's Tux. Don't know how though. But anyways, he was with Caroline and Caroline had a more beautiful dress on then me. We all just stared at each other and suddenly we all responded at once, "We're getting married" Then we all said "us too!" We all laughed a little. Then we continued on to the both where we could register for the wedding. Then I asked, "David how'd you get out of there?" Then David said, "I ran out the back door while everyone was fighting, me and Caroline took the limo out of there as soon as possible. No body knows where we are. And here we are now." Then, I said something I never thought I'd have the got to say "I thought you would never disobey your parents!" Then David said, "For true love I will, just like you sacrificed a lot to be with Zack. I kind of woke up after I realized that carlines really all I have and I love her." Then I smiled at him, this is the David I knew before all of this started the David I use to have a crush on when I was younger and hadn't met Zack yet. Here was my best friend I've known for so many years. "Honey, we're going at 12:00, which gives us bout 30 minutes." Zack said. "30 minutes....What ever you want to do....." I said. It was 5 minutes to 12:00, Zack and I Got dressed and I did my hair. But this wedding was going to be the way we wanted it. Not the way my stuck up mom wanted it. And you know what? I am having a completely different perspective of my mom. After this crap she tried to pull with me marrying David. But no more tricks. It's going to be all official in about... OH NO! "Zack we've got to hurry! Its 1 minute to the wedding!" "Wow, time flies by!" said Zack. See, me and Zack; we weren't going to do the whole formal crap. We just went in jeans and a T-shirt. This is the way we wanted our wedding to be in the first place. "DINGGGG DONGGG DINGGG" the big father Clock struck 12:00. Ha, it kind of feels like I'm Cinderella. Weird, huh? Well anyways. We got down to the "altar" and we were about to get married. There's dad... Oh and Brian, Tammy and his wife Bonnie. I waved to all of them. And then my dad came up to me and said "may I have the honor of walking this beautiful woman down the aisle?" I smiled and said, "Of course you may, I love you dad." Then we began to walk down the aisle. But of course we didn't do the hole, one step at a time and get down the aisle in an hour crap. We just walked casually. And dad was in jeans too. So was everyone else. Then we finally made it to Zack. He looks so handsome. More handsome then he did in those clothes that are all fancy and stuff. My mom has good taste, but for my clothes she doesn't. The Priest was starting... "Do you Elena take Zach......"
