Haejoo lowers her head and sighs.

"Now, do you understand me?"

Seokjin tries to look at her face.

"I do get your point but.., I don't want to believe in love and hurt myself again..."

"Who told you that you'll be hurt again?"

She looks at him. He smiles and softly touches her hands.

"Will you let me prove you that love exists?"

She can't blink and stares at his face for a while.

"Kim Seokjin, it won't be easy with me..."

"I know. I'm not gonna force you. I'll take time until you believe me and can love again."

She chuckles and that makes him feel much lighter.

"I haven't seen you smiling like this for some time now."

"It's because what you just said was cheesy as fuck."

He rolls his eyes.

"I was serious."

"Let's see if you can change my mind then."

"I swear I can."

Haejoo smirks.

"Why do I want to make a bet?"

"You don't need to. I'll win anyway."

Seokjin raises his eyebrows and smiles brightly at her. She is surprised at his confidence.

"You're so confident."

"I should be. Ahhh, what a night... Let's sleep now. Now that I know everything and I wish you're feeling lighter than before. Go to bed, sleep tight and dream about me."

She frowns.

"Why would I dream about you?"

"Because I'm handsome?"

They both crack into laughter.

"Shut up, Kim Seokjin, not again..!"

Then, they head to their rooms. Haejoo stops at her door and looks at Seokjin.

"Kim Seokjin..."

He turns to her.

"Hmm?"

"Thank you..."

"No problem."

He smiles at her and goes into his room. She sighs in relief and goes to bed, too.

The next morning,

"HAN HAEJOO"

Haejoo suddenly wakes up from Seokjin's loud voice calling her name.

"WHAT!?"

"Get up!"

"No!"

"I'll come in and drag you out of the room, then!"

"The door is locked, idiot!"

"This is my house and guess who has the keys!?"

"Oh shit, right..."

Haejoo sighs and gets up, opening the door.

"You win, you win..."

"Come here."

Seokjin gently holds her shoulders and pushes her to the dining-room. There sits a plate of delicious fried rice and kimchi on the table. They both sit down facing each other.
