A "New" Place to Stay

"Take a seat."

Haejoo sits down at the dining table.

"Any drinks?"

"Water..."

Seokjin gets her a glass of water and joins her.

"So?"

She takes a glance at him.

"So what?"

"Han Haejoo, you came to my place at 3am which is very strange."

She sighs and puts down her glass but her hands start to shake.

"Haejoo-ah"

When he's about to hold her hand, she swings it away.

"Okay. What happened?"

"My boyfriend cheated on me."

"God."

"Yeah... And-"

She opens her mouth to say something but no words come out of it.

"And what?"

Seokjin stares at her in curiosity.

"Nothing. Ah, Seokjin-ah..."

"Hmm?"

"Can I...stay here?"

His eyes suddenly widen.

"All of a sudden?"

"Please."

"Why? Why don't you go back home?"

"Home? What's that?"

She smirks.

"What do you mean?"

"Please..!"

He just looks at her.

"Please let me stay here."

"Umm.., okay?"

"Okay?"

"I'll let you stay, but only after your explanation of why you want to stay."

"Kim Seokjin, please!"

Haejoo slams the table and stands up. But then, she closes her eyes and sighs loudly. She looks really frustrated which makes him get more confused.

"Okay okay! I'll prepare a room for you, then. Wait here for a while."

"Thanks..."

She sits down again and Seokjin goes to take out some things from a small room which he uses to store unnecessary furniture and other stuffs.

After a few minutes,

"Haejoo-ah?"

Seokjin walks to the dining-room to see Haejoo resting her head on her bent arms on the table and sleeping.

"This girl..."

When he holds her back and her legs to pick her up in bridal style, she suddenly wakes up and slaps his hands.

"DON'T TOUCH ME"

She holds her bag and looks away.

"Okay! Then, follow me."

She gets up and walks after him to her room.

"I'll get other stuffs out the next day, but I guess you can sleep here for tonight."

She sees an old mattress with a pillow and a blanket on the floor.

"Of course, it's more than enough."
