(Y/N)'s P.O.V
After spending a month in the desert and sent a completed report back the Order, Lenalee and I boarded the last train of the night and settled into our cabin. "Do you think anything exciting happened at the Order while we were out on the mission?" I shrugged and leaned against the window. "I don't know, Lena. Maybe." Lenalee nodded and yawned softly, laying down on her seat while I stayed awake. Eventually, the rocking of the train sent me to sleep and I slept for the entire trip back. Hours later, we carried our bags back up the mountain and towards the Black Order entrance. We were only a few steps into the Order when we heard Komui scream at the top of his lungs.
"Oni-chan? What do you think happened, N/N?" Lenalee asked me. I shrugged and continued onward, not listening to Lenalee's string of concern. Maybe I should've listened, as Komui came running down the hall and straight into me. He knocked both of us down to the floor with me landing hard on my back. I wrestled to get the blue haired male off of me. "Oh, man up, Komui. What is it this time?" I shoved him off of me and only after I've stood up, I helped him up.
I brushed myself off and looked at him. "Now, why are you screaming like a little girl?" His knees were shaking as he pointed back behind him at a familiar looking boy. I glanced over in the general direction he was pointing in and dropped my bags in the process when I saw who it was. Tears welled up in my eyes and quickly began to fall as I stumbled towards him. "Yuu? Is that you? You're alive!" He gave me a soft smile and waved awkwardly. "Hey, (Y/N)," He finally said.
I stood there dumbfounded and stared at him for the longest time. I probably wouldn't have done anything else if Lenalee didn't give me a little push towards him. After the little push, I broke through my paralyzed phase and hugged him tightly. "I missed you so much." After that fateful day, Kanda and I never left each other's side. We spent time catching up on the 10 years that we missed.
I sat across from him in the cafeteria and held my cup of tea close to me. The image of Alma came to mind, and I realized that he was not here with Yuu. "By the way, where is Alma? What happened to him after the attack?" Kanda frowned deeply and he directed his focus down into the tea in his cup, his blue bangs covering his eyes as he spoke. "After you were taken away, there was a malfunction in his life support, and he died..." He trailed off. My eyes widened and they glossed with tears. I also looked down at my tea, a single tear falling in it in the process.
Memories of the three of us flooded into my head, making me smile. I looked up at the sour Asian man in front of me. "Remember when we went to the lotus pond near the village and Alma fell in?" He looked up at me and chuckled. "It was a foot long pond and he said he was going to drown. Baka." It was my turn to laugh. "I missed you. Ten whole years. But now you are here." My stomach growled and I blushed.
"Come on, let's grab some food," Kanda said before laughing. "WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT BAKA?!" I screamed while blushing. "I noticed, you are really cute when you blush." He smiled as he walked to the dining hall. "Tch. Whatever." I followed him and thought to myself, 'He is here. I'm not alone anymore.'
