"Ah! Your present." I said to Jack as we collected food from the buffet for our breakfast.
"Oh... Lana, you didn't need to get me anything." Jack looked surprised.
"Well, I did." I smiled, "I figured I would let you open it tonight, at your party."
"Ok, that's cool with me." Jack shrugged, "But you really didn't need to get me anything." He gave me a look and I rolled my eyes, smiled and nudged him.
"But I did." I grinned, "Let's just hope you like it."
Maddy and Jonah were already sat back at the table. They still weren't going out, Maddy was beginning to lose hope. Although, Jonah didn't seem uninterested, just oblivious.
"Hey." Jonah looked up at us and smiled, "Birthday boy-,"
"You've said that like ten times today." Jack groaned, taking a seat and not hesitating to start wolfing down his breakfast. I smiled to myself as I started with my own food.
