Her smile is like
A shooting star:
So beautiful and rare
That by the time you blinked,
There was no sign
It had been there.
So you wait there
By the window,
Staring at the sky
Hoping to catch
A glimpse of another,
To see it passing by.
And every time
That you see it
The feeling never dims
Light ignites inside you
Feels like angels
Singing hymns.
Like a sunset
Over water,
The first flowers of spring,
A happily ever after
And the laughs
And joy it brings.
The ending to
A favourite book,
Art hung up in galleries,
Carillon music
On a bright afternoon,
A summer evening breeze.
Her smile is like
A shooting star:
Dreamt about in rhyme.
On it I make
A single wish:
That I'll see it
All the time.
