Chapter 32 ♔

And so, we spent the rest of the evening watching the movie 'Spiderman'.

Some of the Wanna One members were deeply immersed in the movie the entire time, while others fell asleep halfway.

Thankfully, I was able to get fully immersed in the movie, so much so that I was unable to take my eyes off the screen the entire time.

It also helped me take my mind off of Aunt Linda and Daniel, which was always a plus.

Once the movie was over, the members walked out of the living room and started doing their own thing.

Minhyun went into the kitchen to prepare some more snacks while the others went into their separate rooms to play games.

Jihoon and I were now the only ones in the living room. He was still comfortably cuddled against me.

I looked down at him and saw that he was fast asleep against my shoulder. I giggled at his little snoring sounds and the small trail of drool that was falling from his mouth.

I gently unhooked my arm from his and tapped him on the cheek, "Jihoon! Wake up!"

"Urghh just gimme 5 more minutes pwease hmm..." he whined as he nuzzled his face against my shoulder, causing his hair to tickle my neck.

I laughed, "I can't believe you can fall asleep on your own birthday. Was the movie that boring or are you just tired?"

He groaned, "I'm tireddd~ I hate University. The tests and assignments are killing me ughhh....noona help~"

I chuckled again, "Geez you sound like a little baby! You're an adult now Jihoon, grow up and face your problems like a big boy!"

Jihoon groaned again, "But I don't wanna!!~"

I was about to reply until suddenly, I heard a ringing sound coming from my pocket.

I sighed.

Ugh, not again.

Who is it this time?

I swear if it's Aunt Linda again, I'm hanging up.

I lazily reached into my pocket and took out my phone. I checked the caller ID and saw that it was from Daniel.

I accepted the call, happy to see that it wasn't from Aunt Linda. Daniel doesn't scare me nearly as much as she does.

"Yeoboseyo?" I answered.

"Babeee~ hey~" Daniel's voice spoke through the line.

"Uhm...hey Daniel. What do you need?" I asked.

"Hmm...babe...I miss you so much~ Where are yo- *hiccup* Please come- *hiccup* h-home." he said in an extremely distorted voice.

"Uhhh Daniel? A-Are you okay? You don't sound too good."

He chuckled in a nonchalant way, "Ha! Don't worry about me, babe! I'm doing great! I just need you here in my arms then I can- *hiccup* feel even better!" he slurred.

I sighed, finally getting the idea of what was going on with him, "Daniel...you're drunk aren't you?"

"What?! N-No! Why would I *hiccup* be *hiccup* drunk? What makes you t-think that jagi?"

I chuckled, "Uhm...its pretty obvious by your voice. But why did you get so drunk? Aunt Linda just told me you fell sick during work and came home. Shouldn't be resting? Did you take any meds? Daniel...didn't you promise me you would control your drinking from now on?!"
