Epilogue : Part 2

" Come on Aaliyah, push mama you can do it.. just breath " The Doctor instructed

" I can't " Aaliyah cried holding on to Sehkani's hand tightly, the pain was indescribable.

" Come on baby you got this " Sehkani coached

" I see the head.. just one more big push " The Doctor added

Aaliyah took a deep breath before pushing again. After almost 48 hours of being in labor, she was finally delivering her baby. She screamed out in pain as she pushed again, she was covered in sweat and looked a mess. Aaliyah stopped pushing and caught her breath.

She looked up at Sehkani " I hate you so much for this " she said

" I know.. I hate you too " he joked " Come on.. it's almost over " he said before kissing her on the top of her head

" One more biggg push " the doctor instructed. Aaliyah took a big breath before pushing again and screaming. " There it is .. come on keep pushing " the doctor smiled

Aaliyah continued to push until she felt a relief. The doctor pulled the baby out of her and everyone in the room cheered, a nurse helped lay the big baby on Aaliyah chest and it started to cry.

" What is it ? " Sehkani asked trying to peak his head around the working hands. They decided to wait until the baby was born to find out the gender

" It's a boy.. congratulations " A female nurse smiled making Sehkani smile

Aaliyah couldn't help but cry tears of joy, she kissed the small baby with a head full of hair on the top of his head and rocked him lightly. Sehkani cut the cord and couldn't stop smiling at the sight.

" I'm never doing that again " Adryian said to Kasuan low enough so only he could hear, as they stood in a corner watching everything happen

" Shut up " Kasuan said pulling her close to him and kissing her on the head. He thought the scene was beautiful and wanted another kid now but those days were over.

Adryian looked up at him " I love you "

" I love you too " Kasuan replied before kissing her softly on the lips.

" You did it " Sehkani said to Aaliyah, both not taking their eyes off the baby

Aaliyah looked up at him " We did it " she said. She placed a hand on the side of Sehkani's face and he brought his face down to hers and kissed her.

Sehkani helped Aaliyah through the front door of apartment they shared after coming home from the hospital. He struggled, holding the car seat, baby bag and Aaliyah's hospital bag.

" I got it " He assured her, unlocking the door and opening it for her

She rocked the baby in her arms and slowly walked inside, still sore from giving birth a week ago to a ten pound baby.

Sehkani put the car seat down by the front door and closed it behind them. He walked up to Aaliyah and the baby. " I got it " Aaliyah assured him, he had been trying extra hard to help with everything when she was okay. She turned and looked at him " I'm about to put him down and then get dinner started.. why don't you take a nap, get some rest, you look tired "

" Nah I got it, I'll cook " Sehkani replied

" Sehkani.. I got it " Aaliyah said before walking away to the nursery. She opened the door and walked over to the small crib before laying the baby down.
