"Ino-chan, if I can't count the number of frills on one hand, there are too many."
Kurenai watched with an amused look as Ino tried to make me take the frilly blue dress. Sakura was looking around the store at other options, knowing me well enough to know I wasn't giving in to the 'cute' option.
"Do you want traditional style, like Tenten-san wears?" Sakura piped up, and I took the chance to escape Ino.
"Hmm, I don't think so," I said, looking at the red Chinese-style shirt she was holding.
"We've sorted out a lot of pants and tops for casual clothes, but you still need a ninja outfit.... I suggest something you feel extremely comfortable in," Kurenai said, glancing around the store.
This particular store primarily sold ninja clothing, and I could see dresses similar to Sakura's on one wall. Most ninja's who wore specialised clothes normally wind up with a particular stylist who just makes the exact same clothes for them when they need a replacement. This was a general store, but offered specialised clothing as well, at a more expensive price.
I strayed from the three girls, snooping around on my own. Within a matter of minutes, my eyes laid on something completely unlike what any of them had suggested, but perfect as far as I cared.
"I'm trying this on," I said, showing them. Their eyes widened slightly.
"Is that appropriate?" Ino asked after a minute.
"I don't see why not," I said with a smirk, and walked to the changing room with the outfit.
"Well, she's certainly going to be putting her assets to use," I heard Sakura say with a slight giggle.

Kakashi and the Hokage walked into the arena, which was damaged from the preliminary fights. Shopping had gone well in the end, and I had wound up buying and changing into the outfit I had found.
"How are you doing, Hikari-chan?" the Hokage asked, a smile on his face.
"Quite well," I said, returning his smile.
"I see shopping went well," Kakashi commented, looking at my outfit.
"You like it? I thought you'd disapprove of your student being so bold," I joked, striking a 'sexy' pose.
