It was a nice evening. The sun was setting leaving a nice orange-ish fade to the sky. I was walking (alone) with Y/n since our houses were in the same direction. It felt kinda awkward with the silence in the air... but it was also nice.. the warm air and the sounds of the birds chirping. I rarely get any chance to enjoy peace and quiet because of him.
" Hey... umm.. Y/n, do you mind letting me stay at your house a bit? " I managed to asked Y/n.
" I don't mind. But why though? "
" Well... I don't feel like going home... You see, I don't really have a good relationship with my father so... "
" You mean Gaito Kurouzu? I heard he's really nice. "
That name sent shivers down my spine, " P-Please don't ever mention that name... " I said as Y/n tilted her head giving me a confused face.
We continue the rest of the journey in silence till we reached Y/n's house...

" W-whoa... " I gasped in awe.
Her house was huge... I didn't expect her to live in a 'mansion'! But also really traditional compared to the other houses now. Y/n scratched the back of her head laughing nervously as I was still unable to believe what I am seeing.
I was appreciating the view when Y/n suddenly grabbed my wrist pulling me toward the front door, " Hurry up! I'm hungry.. " she said clearly irritated.
My cheeks dusted with red, I couldn't help but enjoy her soft touch.. N-no! I shook my head trying to shake off the thought. I can't be thinking of such ridiculous stuff! When we reached the door, Y/n finally let go of my wrist. I rubbed it for a bit as she was gripping onto it really tight. Y/n then unlocked the door and I saw a familiar shade of purple within the gap of the door. My eyes widened, I kept shaking my head in disbelief.
" dAaAAaaDd?!?!? " I screamed in shocked and slowly backed away from the entrance.
Author's POV
You stood there confused and looking at the two vortex-haired males. Your buddy and Geil seemed to be just standing there looking at both you and Light. You saw your dad siting on the couch just opposite of the one that the purple vortex haired guy was siting on. You saw Light's eyes filled with fear so you wondered if his dad was really that bad.
" Oh Light? I didn't expect you to show up. I was actually just about to call you! It seems destiny has brought you here... I see you've already met Y/n Ozora.. " Light's dad said.
You saw Light gritted his teeth. You were worried about him so you approached him slowly and reaching for his hand.
" Ligh- " Before you could ask him what was wrong, he stormed off.
