Day five: Quality Time

Quality Time

Sake, sashimi,

Beer, Kanpai!, Ganbei!, friendship,

All good company.

Yesterday night I had a really good time, making some new friends in a good ambiance. I enjoyed more the sashimi than the sake, but the beer was good anyway. It is fun what happens when people from various horizons meet, when, from different cultures, they share a good time together.

One think doesn’t change, doesn’t denote much from one to another: eating and drinking. Everyone enjoys a good meal, good food, and good liquids. It is funny to see you can translate pretty much anything related to the art of the table and the glass. Every culture has words for cheers, for drinking games, for tasty food.

Well, yesterday I had a good time, and learned some new words in languages I will never use again… or perhaps… who knows where my feet will bring me in the future…
