Kai's POV.

Cole told us a lot.

I can't believe how bad his childhood was.

He always seemed so....... Happy.

How does he cope with that?

I wouldn't be able to live with what Max did if I were him.

I mean; beaten daily? Broken bones almost every day? Emotionally tortured?

Why did Max choose him?

Why Jay?

And why does Max still hate him?

Cole would start on certain parts, but end off with 'Jay wouldn't tell me what happened after that.'

Cole ends his story and we all stood there in shock.

Cole spoke up.

"Why do all the people I love get hurt in some way?" His face went red and I could see anger, sadness and........ is he blushing?

"Are you..... Blushing, Cole?" I smirk.

His face became frantic, and he started stuttering.

"W-what?! Why would I be blushing?!" He tried so hard to hide his crush on Jay.

"Cole, when Jay gets out from the hospital; tell him how you feel." Nya says.

"How I feel? Jays l-like a b-brithet to me! I don't f-feel any other w-way!!" Cole shouts.

I could see Max falling asleep from the boredom of us all.

I shoved everyone out and they didn't even notice.

Nya, Zane, Lloyd and I kept teasing Cole until he finally agreed.

We would all go to a coffee shop and disguise, so we could watch Cole tell Jay how he felt.

Lloyd and I sat in a booth not far from where Cole and Jay were gonna sit, Zane and Nya did the same.

I watched as Cole and Jay walked in.
Cole was talking, then they ordered some drinks.

Come on Cole.......

I could see Cole take a deep breathe as he blushes and then talks to Jay.

Jay froze.

He grabbed Cole's hand and pulled him out of the shop.

His face was red and scrunched, he looked pissed.

After ten minutes or so, Zane, Nya, Lloyd and I all left the shop and went to the sky to the bounty.

Sensei wasn't there, he had left for shopping I suppose.

The others gesture m to look inside Jays room and I do so.

I saw the unthinkable.
