Rose wakes up. This is the second day since she has come back to college; she misses the alarm by ten minutes; leaps out of bed and rushes to the bathroom. After going to the toilet she washes her hands before forcibly brushing her teeth. Quickly putting some lipstick on and rushing her eyeliner and mascara.
It doesn't look as perfect as the first day back but it's good enough. She sits on the toilet seat and notices her bite mark has grown in size. She decides to put on a short skirt determined not to change how she dresses, lifting the side of it up to apply some concealer.
The concealer doesn't cover it well this time and the wound sinks through the layer. She applies many more layers before it is covered to her satisfaction. She puts on her shirt and heels, she then stands up to grab her bag before leaving the room once more.
Walking down the hallway no one notices anything different as she smiles, but inside she knows if she had woken up any later she would be rushing to her class.
