That's Not What I Had In Mind...

Chapter 6

I woke up with a terrible bed head. As I leaned to go and hug Rooney, I fell straight onto by bed face first. Where was he? Oh I scared him away hadn't I? I knew this whole boyfriend girlfriend thing wasn't going to last too long as he would have girls drooling at his doorstep waiting for him, single or taken. Shut up voice in my head I really like Rooney!

*Cling*

I heard a noise come from the kitchen, almost as if someone was cooking, but my mum isn't here. Who is that? I quietly snuck down the stairs to see who it was. To my surprise I saw a shirtless Rooney! His eight pack caused me to daydream! Shhh! Just as i was about to greet him I had a devious plan. I ran but up the stairs and into my room to grab a skiing mask (I go skiing every year with my parents. Well not so much anymore). I was in my black tank top and pink shorts, which were also my pyjamas. When I saw Rooney turn around I ran up behind him and screamed at the top of my lungs. He got so scared that he spilled the flour all over himself. I'm guessing he was going to make breakfast. Oops!

"What the hell?!" he boomed.

It made me jump a little but I couldn't help but let out a sneaky laugh like when my parents tell me off.

"Oh! So you think it's funny do you? Well let me give you something to laugh about!" he said with a devious smile. And then there was a tickle war!

"S-st-o-op! P-pl-pl-ease! Rooney ! Noo!" I giggled in between laughs although I was trying my hardest to sound serious. I had to get out of his trap and quickly. Runny wouldn't help so I grabbed the first thing I saw. Milk! I opened it just in time and before I knew it, I dumped the whole carton of milk on top of Rooney's head! Ha Ha Ha Ha! I stood there and watched as his muscle tensed up. Before I could do anything Rooney locked all the doors that surrounded us which meant...

No escape!

Rooney opened the fridge with his foot and took out 3 eggs. I just stood there as he didn't say a word. I was surprised! Then the worst thing happened! Rooney slowly walked up to me and cracked the egg on my head.

"Ha!Ha! You was right. This is funny" he said as he ran his hand down his messy, milky hair. Then I realised why he came closer to me. He was coming for a hug to wipe all of the milk that I dunked on him on me. I ran around the kitchen like a headless chicken as he chased me. Just as the fun was about to begin I smelled something burning.

"Wait Rooney! Can you smell that?". I turned around to see that the cloth must have dropped into the pot whilst we were playing because Rooney was cooking breakfast. The fire was getting bigger by the second.

"Sh*t" Rooney said in a panic.

He grabbed my arm and headed towards the door. Luckily I had the keys on me to unlock them. Time was ticking and the fire got bigger. Rooney grabbed the keys off of me before opening up the door he held my hand before heading to the main door to exit the house. But my top got caught on the door. Within a blink I saw the fire getting closer and felt the heat on my bare legs. Rooney must have fought that I was behind him as he called to me to hurry up and run.

"Alex! Alex run!". I kept trying to pull away but it was no use. This was the end! I was going to die in this fire. I started to choke an that's when Rooney heard me and ran back into the house after me.

"Help! Rooney! Help Me!" I shouted as loud as I could. I saw a shirtless guy come towards me!

"I'm gonna get you out of here! Don't worry. Alex Stay awake! Please!" He said with desperation clear in his voice.

My vision was slowly going but I heard a rip and felt my top come off. And then blank!
