Basketball season was over and all of the boys were on to their next sport, besides Jason. The only sport he played was basketball, so now we had more time for each other. Almost every day, Jason was picking me up from the library after school. Today, I was over Jason's house for the second time, but the thing was there was no one home besides the two of us.

"So, Jason, when am I going to meet the family? You met my mom when we were friends for like two weeks," I said while finishing up my last problem from my calculus homework.

"The benefit alumni game for the team next season is coming up next weekend. You can meet them there, come home with us and eat lunch or something."

   "That sounds fun, I'm down."

Jason's phone buzzed and he picked it up, looking at the notification. He held a smirk for a little bit and placed his phone face down. Normally, this would raise a red flag in a relationship, but not mine. I put my phone face down before I even knew what a Jason was, so maybe he was just like me. Also, I don't check phones and go through messages, I trust Jason. If I didn't what was the point of us being together?

"Hey A, let's go upstairs to my room. I'm done with this homework," He said closing his laptop and looking at me over the top of his glasses.

I followed him up the stairs to his room and laid down with him in his bed watching Netflix as we had done before. He looked really good today, like really good. He had on a long-sleeve yellow and white Guess shirt, black shorts paired with an Off-White belt, and some slides. But, to put everything over the top, he wore his gold chain. I loved when boys could look so good in some chill ass clothes.

I yawned signifying my weariness and boredom with the TV show and Jason took notice, "You tired?"

"Yeah, but I'm not going to sleep. I'm wearing jeans and if you can go to sleep in jeans, you're either sleep deprived or a psychopath."

He stood up opening his closet, "If you wanna borrow a pair of my shorts, you can have at it. Obviously, they're gonna be a little bit big on you."
