To ignore the way we made each other feel as we grew together over time
I still get butterflies each time I see you
I still think about you first thing in the morning
I still have you racing through my thoughts each night before I finally drift off
I still daydream about you and I making each other happy
Moving on was choosing not to send you a good morning text because you were my first thought that morning, every morning
Moving on was choosing to drown out the latenight thoughts of you with sad songs that consequently made me think of you more
Moving on was choosing to hide all the precious memories with you by distracting myself with trivial things
Moving on was not choosing to stop loving you
