I fell in love with everything you were and everything you wished to become.
What I didn't realize is, I fell in love with a memory of you. A memory of much happier times, times full of love and care. I fell in love with the idea of you. The idea of the perfect love with the perfect man. I fell in love with a hope of what I wanted you to be and who I wanted you to be. I fell in love with the idea of loving you - the man in my memories.
