felix made sure he looked very presentable. today was a very special and important day. he didn't want anything to go wrong so he planned ahead, sending seungmin a text, telling him to message chan to get ready into something stylish.

he kept fixing his appearance in the mirror, re-styling his hair, deciding which earrings go with which necklace etc. he was so nervous as he applied black nail polish onto his nails.

suddenly his phone dinged.

savagemin
he's done
go get him tiger👍

felix took a few deep breathes before grabbing everything he needed and left his house, taking his car to the elders house. the drive was silent and nerve wrecking for the boy. he was still unsure of his feelings for the older but he knew there was a reason why he wanted today to go as planned. as he was coming up to the house, he cursed under his breath. he parked outside, quickly fixing his makeup before getting out. with his shaky legs he walked up the porch steps and breathed in deeply before knocking on the door lightly.

"coming!"

he heard chan yell from inside. the door opened.

"this is new. you never knock seung-" chan cut himself off as he saw felix instead of who he was waiting for. the two gawked at each other. the other to them looked absolutely amazing. felix could feel his cheeks become pink as he checked the older out.

"h-hi." felix finally spoke up, looking into chans now blue eyes. felix thought the contacts made the look 10x better. chans dark eyeshadow and blue contacts really made his eyes pop and shine brighter.

"hi. i thought you were seungmin. i'm sorry." the older apologised, feeling flustered and shy as he stared at felix. "yeah i know. i didn't know any other way to meet up with you." the younger confessed. "do, do you wanna go get dinner?" a smile crept onto chans face and nodded. "yeah, i'd like that."

the two got into felix's car and he drove off to the restaurant he made a reservation for.

"you look really good lix." chan said, still checking him out. felix blushed and smiled. "thanks. you look pretty hot yourself."

soft romantic music played in the background from the radio. they talked about their lives, realising they didn't really know each other's pasts. when they finally got to the restaurant, felix scurried out the car before chan could, just to open the door for him. chan couldn't help but smile at the cute gesture.

felix took his hand, intertwining their fingers as they walked into the fancy place. "i made a reservation under bang-lee?" felix said, madly blushing at the waitress. "ah of course! please follow me to your table." the girl grabbed two menus and showed the boys the way to their table. it was right by the window, where you got a beautiful view of the ocean.

the two sat down and smiled at the lady as she left. "so why the stylish looks?" chan asked as he looked through his menu. "well because when you took me out, you dressed so nicely while i wore a hoodie and sweats. i felt so bad so i wanted to make sure we both looked nicely today." felix explained, shooting the older a toothy smile. the older felt his heart skip a beat. "well you really out did yourself today babe." chan winked, then laughed as the younger hid his blushing face behind the menu.

their waitress walked up to their table with a notebook and pen in hand.

"are you two ready to order?" she asked, a polite smile on her face. "yeah i'll have a medium rare steak with a salad and red wine." chan spoke, ready to give the waitress his ID. she jotted down everything and looked at his ID, confirming his age. now it was felix's turn. "i'll have the beef bourguignon and just water." he said with a smile. she nodded and took their menus before leaving.

"wait are you paying for this?" chan asked. felix nodded. "i planned this so i should pay, plus you paid last time." he flashed the older a smile that caused chan to blush and divert his eyes.

"y'know you're really handsome." felix spoke, not taking his eyes off chan. the older shook his head. "no. you're the handsome one here. even when you're wearing loungewear, you're still so beautiful." chan said, not caring that the waitress had came over with their drinks. felix thanked her and drank his water rather fast.

how could he just say that while someone else was there? felix thought, trying to control his red cheeks and ears.

the older found the scene very amusing and cute.

"did i make my little sweetheart shy?" he teased, taking a sip of his wine. felix looked up and nodded before moving his gaze to his painted nails. "i- this night was meant to be me making you blush. not the other way around." the younger laughed slightly. he was still blushing through his make up but he enjoyed every second of the older teasing him.

the waitress soon came back with their food and they thanked her. felix motioned her to come close and she did. he whispered something into her ear. the words went, "could you please play for you by 3racha?" he asked her. she smiled and nodded. once she left chan sent him a confused expression.

"what was that about?" he asked, taking a bite of his steak. "oh just a lil surprise i thought of." just then the music changed and chan perked up as he started to hear his own song play through the speakers of the restaurant. the two couldn't help but smile.

"lix. you're the best."
