Tony POV

I woke up and got ready and went to pick up Pepper for our breakfast date. I picked her up and went to breakfast.

How I missed her. We arrived at the restaurant and I went to open the door for her to get out and opened the door to the restaurant. I pulled out her chair so she could sit down.

"Wow, Tony acting like a gentleman. I hope it doesn't stop after we get married." Pepper said

"Haha, it won't." I said

The waiter came and took our orders.

"I missed you some much. There wasn't a day that I didn't have you and Skylar in my mind." I said grabbing Pepper's hand on the table.

"We missed you too. It was hard on Skylar she was scared. I was sacred too." She said rubbing my hand.

"Now I am here. I am here to stay and plan out our wedding." I said

"Skylar has been very helpful with the wedding." She said

"I am glad to see my two girls bonded while I was gone." I said smiling.

"I love hanging out with her. We have gotten close." She said

"I am glad to hear that." I said

The waiter came back with our order and we ate and talked for while more.

"So what's up with Peter and Skylar. I have noticed that they have gotten close." I said

Pepper coughed a bit and took a sip of her water.

"Yeah, Peter has helped her get through things when you were gone. He protected her like you said when you told me to give him the note." She said

"Yeah and I am going to say thank you when I see him. But is that all. They are just friends? Because I think they are not." I said started to get angry.

"Tony." She said

"Back at the arcade I saw them give each other glances. I see the way they look at each other. Even before that I have noticed them giving eyes to each other. I even told Peter not to try anything." I said

"Tony." She said again but with more tone.

"Also, last night I saw Skylar had a "bruise" on her neck. And I know for a fact that is not a burn like she claims to be. It's a fu**en hickey.  I swear to god if they are dating, I am going to end Parker!" I said with so much anger and my hands on a fist.

"Tony! For crying out loud. So what if she is dating Peter. Let her be. She is 18 Tony. When you were 18 you were with every girl in New York. Let her live Tony. You can't protect her always. She needs to learn. You can't give her everything. You can't prohibit her from love."

"But she is my daughter." I said

"I know Tony and she will always be. But you act like that, you will lose her as your daughter. You told me you were going to let her go. So start letting her go." She said

Pepper was right. I need to let her go.

"But if she was dating Peter why wouldn't she tell me?" I said

"Because she is sacred that you will go out on her. Like you did last time when she had a crush in middle school. You yelled at her and you told her that is not allowed to think about boys and you even threaten that poor kid." She said

I just stayed quiet.

"Tony, she needs to know that you will support her no matter what. If she wants to date or have a boyfriend, let her, support her. Don't go threatening them. You need to be open about it. I know you are sacred of change. But she is your daughter and will always be." She said
