After Peyton and Sam left the car, it was just me and Anthony waiting to order. For some reason it was much more awkward with just us two.

"Are you nervous for today?" I asked him starting up the conversation.
"No, not really," he replied thinking without making eye contact, "I mean there's nothing really to be scared of," he finally looked over at me, "are you nervous?" he asked
"I mean kind of, who wouldn't be?" I said at I looked down at my lap. I pulled my hair behind my ear so it wasn't draping in front of my face. "I've never done this before, what if they don't like me?"
"Everyone likes you," he chuckled, "you have nothing to be nervous about."

He was so reassuring, if his smile could kill, oh boy... goodbye mama

"Anthony?" I said quietly
"Yes?"
"Is... is Chase mad at me?" I looked down again
"I mean, maybe?" he replied, "I would be upset if you left me too. He's probably not super mad, but he's probably disappointed."
"Oh.." I replied softly
"Why did you leave anyways?" he asked
"Because my mom was scared, and I had to go back"
"Really?"

I knew this wasn't really the reason. I left because I was scared. Because I don't deserve it, because nobody ever likes me.

"Really." I replied

Payton and Same ran to the car and banged on the windows. I screamed and they all started laughing.
"Fuck you guys" I said as i rolled my eyes
"How have you guys not even ordered yet? Have you even moved?" Payton asked
"Yes... one car" Anthony said
We all bursted out laughing
