Brooke's POV

"To Liam. The best D&D Dungeon Master!" We all toast to Liam. The party had gone well so far and I'd soon be playing my song.

"Hey, Brooke." I would recognize that voice anywhere. Eric.

"Hi."

Eric is dressed as a wizard, he's wearing a blue robe with white stars and a matching, pointy hat. He looks quite hilarious.

"I was wondering, do you want to go on a date with me tomorrow." He looks like he's going to sh*t his pants. " I mean you don't have to, it was only a suggestion. You know what-"

"Eric!" He looks at me, like I just shot his puppy, "I would love to." I smile.

"Great, I'll pick you up at ten?"

"Sounds good."

We end up staring at each other for what seems like forever. Finally Eric decides to break the silence.

He clears his throat. " I love your costume, very you."

I look down at my knight/warrior costume. I'd pulled my hair to one side with a ruby clip and was wearing high-heel metal boots

"Thanks" I smile. I go to compliment his costume, when Stacey comes bouncing up to me.

"It's time for you to shine. Wahooooo!" Oh god, she's drunk.

I look at Eric, "Wish me luck"

I walk up to the six boxes filled with books, that are our homemade stage and grab a stool, as well as my guitar.

"Okay um, this is for Liam."

A/N Play song

I start to play my guitar, I close my eyes.

Hey there, now

Where'd you go

You left me here

So unexpected

You changed my life

I hope you know

'Cause now I'm lost

So unprotected

In a blink of an eye

I never got to say goodbye!

I open my eyes looking for him

He said he would come.

Like a shooting star

Flying across the room

So fast so far

You where gone too soon

You're a part of me

And I'll never be the same without you here without you

You were gone to soon

I tear falls from my closed eyelids,
