OLIVIA

What had surprised me was how calm the two men were. They did not tell me to be quiet when I screamed and tried to kick my way out of the car, nor did they tie me up and put tape over my mouth. They only took all that I had in my pockets that I could use to protect myself; my keys, my phone and the fork in my bag where I had food.

I reached for the guy who was driving, to press my thumbs in his eyes, but the guy with the blue hair who was in the passenger seat harshly pushed me back down to my seat.

"Calm down with her." The one with the brown hair warned Blue hair. Blue hair sat lay back against his seat and huffed tiredly.

"What do you want from me?!" I screamed, still confused and afraid at this whole situation.

The one with the brown hair looked at me from the rear-view mirror for a moment before putting his hand out to me. I flinched back, preparing for an attack but then realized that he just wanted me to shake it. I just looked down at it, confused and afraid.

"I'm Jon." He introduced himself and retrieved his hand when he realized that I wasn't going to take it. "Olivia, am I right?"

"How do you know my name and where are you taking me?" I shouted at him, hearing Blue hair sigh because of my screaming again.

"We are taking you to our Estate and don't worry, we won't hurt you." He said, which was obviously a lie.

"The Estate?" I wondered, my eyes wandering to the buttons next to him that would unlock the backseat.

"Yes."

I reached for the button in hopes to unlock the door myself. The brown haired man caught me before I could get close to it, and clenched my wrist roughly. The realization of where I was and what could potentially happen to me hit me as soon as the pain kicked in, knowing in my heart that I would endure more.

In the backseat, I stayed quiet and felt my tears rush through me and out of my eyes. This had all been a mistake, coming here to New York. I was barely an adult, all by myself in a new state, and now I was being kidnapped by two men.

"Oh come on, now." The brown haired man said, looking at me through the rear view mirror. "No need to cry."

I wiped my eyes, not wanting to show any sign that may be taken as weakness. Predators fed off of weakness.

"Yeah, just be happy about the fact that you're being kidnapped." I sarcastically said underneath my breath.

It sent them off to laugh at my remark. I stared at them in confusion and horror from the backseat, clenching my trench coat in my hands. The laughs were sadistic and horrid, loud in my ears.

"Don't think of this as kidnapping. We're not here to hurt you." The driver said.

"Then what do you want from me?"

"We just want to-. You know what? Its better I let Storm explain this to you." He said.

"Storm?"

"Our boss. Potentially yours to be." He told me, only feeding into my confusion.

I sat there confused and silent, looking outside of the window. A part of me, that part of me that was still holding on to hope even after years of abuse and torment, I believed that they weren't going to hurt me. Perhaps this was just a small adventure for me in New York, starting a chain of other ones. Tonight, I was trapped in a car with men I didn't even know, but it was the most freeing feeling I had ever had.

I observed the twilight sky above. I observed how we came from the city to a now long road in the middle of tall trees. It was dark and empty and frightening, as we advanced to the mansion at the end of the road.
