Missed me

Cayla POV

Me and my mom were getting our nails done when my daddy called to check on me.

"Yes mike she's okay. We're just getting our nails done." My mom said in to the phone making faces as my daddy lectured her about my protection.

I was trying to keep my self from laughing so loudly but it was really funny.

"Okay I'll bring her home in 2 hours bye." She said hanging up the phone in his face.

"girl your daddy love you too death. That's his 5th time calling me. He texted me 15 times." She said rubbing her head.

"Yeap. He does and I love my daddy much more." I smiled thinking about him.

The lady was putting my second coat of pink on my toes. It was really pretty. I got a hot pink with a little white heart in the bottom left corner of my big toe.

"That's pretty baby girl." My mom said as she paid the lady for our mani pedi smiling at me. "Thank you." I giggled. A few minutes after sitting under the dryer we left.

So far me and my mommy watched a movie and went to eat. I was having a great time. I'm kind of glad she wanted to spend time with me. As we were walking to the car. We bumped in to my uncle. "Uncle Jeremy!!" I squealed excitedly jumping on him. He picked me up and kissed my cheek.

"Hey baby . How you been. I haven't seen you since you left me." He said pouting poking out his lip making me giggle. "I'm sorry uncle." I hugged him. "Where's Zyon?" I asked looking around for him. "With your nana." He looked at my mom and nodded at her. "Wassup." He said dryly. She smiled slightly and waved.

"Auntie baby!!" My auntie Andrea said hugging me. I hugged her tight. I love my auntie. She was there for me also while my daddy was gone. "I missed you auntie." She kissed my forehead and put me down. "Where's your daddy? Who you here with?" She said looking past my mother who was texting on her phone. "I'm with my mom." I said nervously. She looked at my uncle then at my mom who was nervous. "bitc- I mean women you alive? " my auntie yelled about to charge toward her but my uncle grabbed her.

"Don't make me get ugly out here." She said switching her weight to her right leg. "You lucky my niece here but you'll catch a ass whooping from me sooner or later." Auntie Andrea said. "Let's go Cayla so I can take you home." My mom said grabbing my hand but my aunt pulled me to her.

"Don't worry we're going to her father we can drop her off with him." She said looking in her purse for her keys. My uncle was just shaking his head laughing. "She came with me so I'll be the one to drop her off." My aunt looked around as if she was looking for who my mom was talking too.

"baby lets go." Uncle Jeremy said shooing my aunt to the car. "Fine. See you later baby and tell your father to call me, love you." She said kissing my cheek and mugging my mom. "Ok auntie love you too." "I'll see you later princess." Uncle Jeremy said kissing my forehead following behind aunt Drea. They got in the car and drove off.

"come on baby let me get you home." My mom said grabbing my hand and leading me too the car. I placed my seatbelt on as we got in and made our way to my nana house singing Beyoncé.

"I had fun today thank you everything." I said hugging my mom as I was about to get out the car. She kissed my forehead unlocking the doors and watching me walk to the door, making sure I was safe. I was so excited to see my nana I nearly fell trying to run up and open the door.

"Princess!!!!" She yelled opening the door catching me as I jumped in her arms. "I missed you so much." She said kissing me all over my face making me giggle. I waved my mom off and walked in to the house.

"Is that my baby?" I heard ma yell. I ran towards her and hugged her. "Girly I missed you all day. Did you have fun?" Shanti said stroking my hair. I nodded. "We went to the movies and got our nails done and more." I said all in one breath. "I even seen Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Drea."

"When?" My daddy said interrupting us. "You so nosey." Nana said rolling her eyes and walking in to the living room. "You gone come hug your daddy or just look at me." He said making me laugh I hugged him as he kissed my forehead. "Did you have fun with spirit?" He said referring to my mom.

"Yeap we did everything ." He nodded. "That's good. I'm glad you had fun."

"Where's my princess at?" I heard papa yell as he came and tickled my sides making me laugh and knocking my daddy chicken out his hand. "I-I'm right h-here" I managed to breathe out. "I missed you big head." I hugged him and kissed his cheek. "I missed you too papa. You feeling better?" I said laying my head on his chest.

"yes I do. Thanks for asking." I smiled and listened to my nana and daddy go back and forth about some chicken as my mom laughed.

"Mike you better pick up that damn chicken. " nana yelled.

"But ma. Dad made me drop it. How you gone get mad at me?" My daddy whined wiping up the chicken grease off the floor.

"Cause you should've never been eating without a plate anyways." She yelled smacking his head causing me to burst out laughing and earning a mug from him.

"Yall ready to go?" My daddy asked standing from the couch. I was curled under Shanti playing on her phone halfway asleep. I shook my head no. "Can I spend the night?" I begged poking out my lip. "You gone leave Justin?" He said digging in his pockets for his keys.

"No cause I was gonna ask if I could stay too." Justin said coming downstairs with Zyon behind him. "Eww Cayla Is that your ugly self?" Zyon said as he made a face at me. "Shut up. That's why your head big." I joked. He smacked his teeth and hugged me. "My head not even big."

"Yeah right. But nana can we?" I said with pleading eyes. She sighed and nodded. I ran and hugged her kissing her cheek. "We'll be good I promise." She laughed and shooed me away.

"I'll be at you tomorrow. Be good." My daddy said hugging me. I kissed his cheek and hugged my mama. "Be good baby girl and watch justin bad self." She kissed my cheek. "She ain't gotta watch me but see you tomorrow mama." Justin said about to run up stairs. "Boy if you don't come hug me." She yelled.

He sighed and kissed her cheek. "Love you." He ran upstairs as I walked my mommy and daddy to the door. They got in the car and drove off. Now time to catch up with my nana and papa. I turned around and smiled at them running towards them jumping ok them.

"Ughhhhh." They groaned making me giggle. "Yall know yall missed me." .
