XXVI: Unravel

A beginning to an end,
To blood drops on my ceiling,
From blood drops on my carpet
Into clarity I descend.

From shedding tears,
The tears of my own,
Of others in fear,
That I would never see them again.

Sparks shot in horror,
Not knowing what to expect,
I was sorrounded by murder,
It could not be something to neglect,

I always polished my weapon,
And prayed before destination,
And put my face on to lead them,
And left my mask in a poisonous sensation.

I turned my lifetime into a year,
A sleeveless warrior in the barracks,
With a soul shattered into fragments,
And a gun pleading for eternal silence,

Dear fearless headhunter,
With a heart of gold,
I'm here under the sun,
Cause my soul had been sold,

And I cry in bed lightly,
And bark and tear myself madly,
Cause this was never me
Comrades, it never was me sadly.

Cause my soul had been sold,
My honor had been dismantled,
My heart has gone cold,
The future awaits to unravel.
