VI: Dead and Alive

Shivers fly in the deadliest seed,
Pleading for everyone to observe and act,
While the fountain flew in a spiral lead,
Only catching the wrongful fact.

Fact.

A sleeveless victim, crying in his bed,
Aiming his eyes at centuries clock.
What would come next, what would come next?

Tic, toc, tic, toc.

Tic. Toc.

Caught a leaf, flying from another tree,
Happy amidst the color's crowd,
And everyone looked into the free
And left the chained in his deaf sound.

Sound.

What to move, what to do,
Write, hang or glue?
Call or burst, seed or twist?
No, don't help, do not insist...

And so the healthy dead had once walked alive,
only to turn a lifetime into a year.
Fitting insanity into a needed tide
and loom at its great love to fear.

So remember the day, remember the night,
Flowing, but lifeless, yet bright.
Walking beside you, under a flashlight,
In open sight
