CHAPTER 22

Aimee P.o.V.

We just finished making the icing for our awesome muffins when Jace grabbed my face all of the sudden. I didn’t even have time for saying anything before his lips were already on mine.

This is what I was missing the whole day. His lips felt like home, sweet and familiar. The kiss quickly turned into a hotter and passionate one. This was the first time he kissed me this way, but I was not complaining. Suddenly Jace grabbed my thighs lifting me up. I was surprised that he could even lift me up. I wasn’t a fat or anything but I was still taller. But my fears of falling totally left me, as my legs automatically went around his waist. Jace backed me up until I hit the kitchen's counter. Our tongues were moving against each other fighting for dominance. Then I felt as Jace put me on kitchen counter while still continuing kissing me. I felt his hand moving slowly up my things. It sent sparks through my whole body. His fingers continued going north till he was slowly reaching my stomach. Jace's cold fingers brushed against my warm skin sending shivers down my back.  He stopped kissing me and while looking at me Jace slowly started to lift up my shirt. I don’t know in what hypnosis I was but I wanted more. I saw lust, adore, desire and even love in his eyes.

“I would love to see Aimee's bra and all but I am seriously starving and you are making my appetite go away,” said a voice and at the same time scaring the crap out of me. When I looked at the door I saw Liam grinning oh so innocently. The kid seriously needs to date or something. Despite the awkwardness I quickly forgot what Liam saw and gave him a hug. I really missed Liam. He is that annoying younger brother that I just cannot seem to dislike. After a while Liam still haven’t let go of me and Jace didn’t take that as good as I did.

“Okay, that’s enough let go of her or you wouldn’t get any muffins.”

“Dammmmm I love you Aimee, but food is still my number one. I am so sorry that you have to be third.” Fake cried Liam.

“Third?” I asked.

“Well you see my phone is the second most important thing to me so yeah…” I just smiled at him. He was just so adorable. Jace did not look amused at all.

“Grumpy cat,” I whispered at Jace to which he just showed me his tongue and started decorating the muffins. Liam was too tired so he just went to his room and said to call him when the job is done, lazy bum. We finally did the decorations and it turned out to be the most perfect muffins I ever saw. It tasked as good as dad's too. Liam came before I could call him and started to eat like a cave man. I had to stop him or he would have eaten all stuff by himself. I made Liam promise me that he will safe some for Leah and his dad. After making fun of Jace about him not getting out alive from my dad he ran to his room. Then Jace made sure to hide his share of muffins so that no one could find it.  I don’t think that even police could find it.

We were outside my front door and Jace looked calm, but you never know what the person is really thinking for sure. Not to waste time I opened the door and it was too quiet, I didn’t like that. At first I thought that any moment now dad or mom will jump on Jace, but in the end I found out how Liam must’ve been feeling when he found me and Jace making out.

“You can't be serious.” I said loud just to break the picture in front of me. I mean came on, who would like to see theirs parent making out? The whole situation was way awkward not to forget that Jace was still standing beside me and I am sure he also saw the whole episode. Kill me now.

“Honeeeeey, you are home I missed you!” My mom said jubilantly. Well I guess she wanted to forget the whole ‘awkward moment’ as much as I did.

“Who do we have here?” Oh, here we go. Dad made his way to Jace and of course tried to intimidate Jace by his height. I don’t think Jace was scared or I hoped he wasn’t because this is only the beginning.

“Mom, dad this is Jace.” I started and then added in a small voice “My boyfriend.” When I said boyfriend, I still could not believe it. All my life I thought that me having a boyfriend couldn’t happen, but here we are with me having one. Something still tells me that even if I didn’t have one in my entire life dad would be very happy. To him I wouldn’t not be ready to have boyfriend even if I was 30. I don’t want to think what Adrian would think about all this. I send a quick thank you to the God because Adrian wasn’t here. I’ll deal with that latter. First I need to help Jace survive this one.

“Jace this is my mom and dad,” I finished my not so bright introduction. What? I really had no idea how to do these things. Now I understand why in movies they act so nervous and awkward.

“Nice to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Tinny,” said Jace with a strong voice. I was glad that even if Jace was nervous he didn’t show it.

“You can call me Suzanne, Mrs. Tinny is my mother-in-law,” said my mom, well at least she was being friendly. Her smile was generous but I knew she had many more tests on her sleeve.

“Bien sÛr Suzanne,” (Of course Suzanne) said Jace.

“Parles-tu francais?” (You know French) My mom then asked very surprised.

“Oui, ma mère m’enseigné quand j’étais petit.” (Yes, my mom thought me some when I was little.)

“Beh, c’est beau!” ( Well, that’s lovely!)

This was new. I didn’t know that Jace could speak French this well. He even has the perfect pronunciation. I knew French language because my mother was from France. I remember when I was little she would always force me to study it, but now I am thankful for her hard work. Adrian knew French too but not as good as I. Dad, well he knew something but I still had to translate the dialog to him so he wouldn’t feel so left out. I knew that Jace knowing French brought him some gold points. Mom is warming up. Now I need to warm up my dad.
