Sorry for not updating this in, like, a year.
(Claire's point of view)
Sans and I walked down a long path. It didn't show any sign of stopping, so we just kept walking. Sans said that Undyne was the guardian of the waterfall, and that we would need to be careful.
"Hey kid," Sans said.
"Hmm?"
"I want to see you fight Undyne. One of these days, you're gonna need to learn how to survive some monsters. Why don't I give you a lesson?"
I nodded. "Sure. Why not?"
Sans and I practiced for a couple hours, and I was pretty quick. I dodged test attacks he threw at me. At the end of our training, we continued down the path to Undyne.
Suddenly Sans stopped. "Do you think that Flowey is gonna try to make me kill you?" He asked me. I shrugged. "I hope not." He chuckled. "C'mon, kid. Let's go. This is your game we're playing here."
I followed along behind Sans, thoughts of home filling my mind. Is home really better than this? The whole reason I'm down here is I was looking for something that would fix my life, and now I have no idea if I actually want to go home.
But I'll stay determined anyway.
