Branded by skin.
Marked by race.
An evil over centuries old.
Waiting to engulf us all.
At every angle.
No where to turn.
We can't seem to shake out this dirty practice.
Dictates who we are and what we do.
Oh why do we let simple things like skin and race
Determine our change of pace?
When will our minds erase
And we start judging each other by actions.
What we do.
Who we become.
