Noone's pov.
Rameses stormed through his palace as soldiers rushed past him to be prepared for battle. Rameses only had one goal in his mind right now, and that's why he was rushing through the corridoors - he had to find (Y/n)'s maids.
He was seething and getting angrier by the minute. His face was contorted into a grimmace making him look uglier and more intimidating.
The Pharaoh then slammed open the doors to the private throne room where he confronted Moses for the first time. There he saw the four maids. Chione, Rana, Khepri and Safiya were standing in a circle and slowly turned to the Pharaoh when the doors were slammed open.
"Go to the armory!" Rameses demanded. "Help the soldiers get ready for the slaughter!"
"No." Khepri replied calmly and with no emotion.
Rameses was shocked for a second, but quickly regained his hard exterior. He then growled : "What?"
"We do not follow your orders." Rana replied with the same tone Khepri did.
"I am your Pharaoh-" Rameses yelled at the girls who's expressions were exactly the same.
"We do not bow down to you." Safiya said calmly.
"-and you have to-" Rameses continued yelling.
"We only bow down to those..."Chione said like her fellow maids.
"-listen to ME!" Rameses finished yelling.
"....to who (Y/n) is willing to bow down to." Khepri said, her tone unchanging.
"And it clearly isn't you anymore." All of the maids said in unison.
"You will suffer for this." The man growled like a beast.
"Your pride..." Chione said.
"....your bravery...." Khepri continued.
"Now we see there is no cause for envy." Rana finished.
"Quiet." Rameses growled, but the women continued.
"We always knew..." Safiya said with pity in her voice.
"...that your gifts...." as Khepri said this Rameses turned to the mirror he was standing becide and the women in the reflection were standing becide him, all of them had their arms folded in front of them with a straight posture.
"...will be your downfall." Rana finished grimly.
Rameses then yelled out in frustration and slammed his fist into the mirror, shattering the glass. He then looked away from the mirror only to find out that he was alone in the room.
Utterly alone.
