(Y/n)'s pov.
Black clouds were above the once great kingdom of Egypt. Everything was silent. Too silent.
I was walking slowly down the halls, my footsteps echoing. My mind was clear of any thoughts.
I was lost in the silence of the palace that I didn't even notice that I made it to the doorless entrance of the Palace. I then heard louder footsteps echoing from the large porch and I hid behind a stone pillar and looked at who it was.
It was Moses.
"Rameses?" said man said this and then repeated this a little louder so that it echoed.
"Oh, let me guess." I heard Rameses say sarcasticly and saw that he was sitting in the lap of a statue. "You want me to...let your people go?"
Moses stepped closer to where I and the Pharaoh were, but luckily none of the men noticed my presence yet. "I hoped I would find you here."
"Get out!" Rameses said angerly as he threw his glass of wine in Moses direction and it landed several feet from the hebrew man.
"Rameses," Moses said. "we must bring this to an end."
Othervise all of life in Egypt will be lost. I thought in my head.
I heard no responce from the Pharaoh, only saw that he was looking glum.
Moses then started pleading. "Rameses, please, talk to me. We could always talk here."
Once again, no responce from the King of Egypt. And Moses decided to use this silence to break the thick tension in the air. "This place...so many memories."
"I remember the time you switched the heads of the" Moses then chuckled. "Gods in the temple of Ra."
Moses then sighed in what I presumed was sadness and frustration and from the corner of my eye saw that he started walking back to the entrance. But suddenly Rameses spoke.
"If I recall correctly," said man then faced towards Moses and I saw a harsh glare on his face that was even more worrying that the one he had had since the plagues started, "you were there switching heads right along with me."
I then heard that Moses had stopped and that he was most likely thinking about something. "No....that was you....I didn't do that."
"Oh yes, you did. You put the hippo on the crocadile," Rameses then jumped down right in front of his 'brother', "and the crocodile on-"
"-on the falcon!" Moses continued what he said after he remembered.
"Yes!" The taller male said to the hebrew he once knew as his brother and partner in crime. "The Priests thought it was a horrible omen and fasted for two months! Father was furious! We even were scolded by (Y/n) of all people! You were always getting me into trouble!"
My breath hitched for a moment at the mention of my name. I did remember the time I scolded them for that, and because of that a small smile adorned my face when I remembered what it was like back then.
"But then," Rameses said more calmly and prehaps even endearment, "you were always there to get me out of trouble again....and (Y/n) would always tell us that it would be alright."
I then saw that Rameses had a gentle look on his face and placed a hand on Moses' shoulder. "Why can't things be the way they were before?"
"Father!" I, the Pharaoh and Moses heard a child's voice and turned towards Amun who was holding a torch. Of course, I was still hidden in the shadows. "It's so dark. I'm frighetened and can't find (Y/n) or her maids!"
