(7 months earlier)

"Hi dad." My daughter Kate said to me.

"Hey honey. How are you is your friend Lauren here?"

"No were not friends anymore."

"Why not?" I say in shock.

"She keeps going around telling people horrible roomers ."

"What kind of roomers?"

Lauren's P.O.V

(Present day)

I woke up to Jason sleeping I look outside and the sun is just rising.

'Ugh why did I have to wake up so early?' I think to myself.

I then notice the puppies crying because their mom was outside, that's probably why I woke up.

I slowly got up and went outside to get Mia and Duce, when I got back with the dogs Mia jogged over to the puppy's.

"Your going to make a great mom Mia"

I heard a little rustling behind me, so I turn my head to face what was causing the noise and I see Jason, his eyes were slightly open, I guess he woke up.

"Who are you talking to?" He asks me.

"Mia." I paused "we still need to name the puppies." I say.

He gets up and sleepily walks over to me.

He picks one of the girls up and looked at me.

"What do you think?"

"She looks like a....... Taylor, what do you think Mia." She barks at me "I will take that as a yes!"

I pick up a boy."What do you think?"

I look at Jason as he thinks of a name for him. "How about....... Mitch?"

"I LOVE THAT NAME!" I yell/whisper.

"Okay Mitch it is." He picks up a boy. "How about....... Riley?"

"I like it." I pick up a boy "Kingston"

"Kingston?" Jason asks confused.

"Come on does he not look like a Kingston."

"Ya I see it now."

Jason picks up another boy "Killer."

"Really, I knew you would name one that."

"What he is the biggest one, no doubt he will be a strong, loyal hunting dog when he is older."

"Okay...."

I pick up another boy "David" I say

"I like it." Jason says

We look over to the two last puppies a girl and a boy.

I pick up the boy and Jason picks up the girl.

I look at the pup his big brown eyes, Jason does the same with the girl.

At the same time we both said their names.

"Aqua." "Brownie." We said in sync.

"Aqua I like it."

"I like it too." he said.

By the time we ate breakfast I noticed that my three pairs of clothes were dirty.

"Hey I'm going to the pond." I told Jason.

"Okay."

I grabbed my clothes and went to a different pond then usual because I don't really want to drink from a pond that I do my laundry in.

Once I get their I put my stuff in the water and scrubbing it with my hands and started to do the same with my other clothes.

Once I finished up I started to head back when I heard a whimper I looked in that direction to see a horrible sight a dead female wolf, and three dead puppies. I looked behind the wolf and saw a pup, it was moving.

"OH MY GODS!"

I pick the pup up and it was shivering so I rapped it my clothes, and started to run back.

Once I got their I looked around for Jason.

"JASON!"

He came running inside.

"Is everything okay?" He said looking at the puppy's.

"Look." I unwrap my clothes to see the pup. "What do we do?"

"I don't know?"

"Well we can't just let it die!" I yell.

"Okay, okay. Just calm down."

I stopped dead in my tracks. He did not just say that

"Calm down."

"Oh no."

"Calm down their is a dying pup, and you want me to calm down!" I scream at him.

By the time I finished the sentence Mia got up from her puppies and started to walk over to the pup she sniffed him, I got nervous what if she hurts him.

She kept sniffing him, but she did something that was amazing she picked him up and brought him over the rest of the puppies.

"Oh my Gods." I say.

(Three hours later)

After all of that happened today we decided to name the wolf pup James.

After I fed Lucky and Bella, I noticed Bella is getting a little fat.

"You better not be pregnant now!"

After James was well fed I took him to the same pond were I found him and I gave him a bath.

After his bath he ran around like a maniac and jumped on my, he kept licking my face, and I was laughing like crazy.

"J-James stop it!" I manage to get out, my stomach was starting to hurt from all the laughing.

When he finally stopped I carried him back to the cave, and placed him near Mia.

It was getting dark so I started a fire, Jason and I didn't eat meat tonight we just had apples because we forgot to go hunting.

After I finished the apple I threw the core in the fire and went to go see the puppies they are so adorable, and it looks like James was welcomed into the family with open arms.

After I played with the pups I went over to Duce.

"Hey bud your not getting much attention are you." I said petting his back as he sat down he looked at me for a second and then licked my face until I was on the ground laughing.

"D-Duce stop I-it." I managed to get out, I was now laughing so hard I could barley breath but soon enough he stopped.

Jason finally finished his apple and put out the fire and came inside, it was pitch black the only lighting their was, was the stars and the moon.

"Imma go sleep in the meadow okay." I tell Jason.

"Are you sure, do you want me to come out with you?"

"It's okay you don't have to."

"Okay." Jason said and with that he stood up and walked into the meadow and lied down on the grass.

"I said you didn't have to."

"I know but I want to." he said.

And with that I walked over and lied down beside him and before I fell asleep I saw a shooting star.

"Look a shooting star!" I yell/whisper

"Make a wish."

'I wish that one day my best friend Kate will come out here and find me, and tell me that she missed me.' I think to myself.

And with that I fall asleep hoping that it will come true.
