It's been three months since my mom had passed away, and to say I was doing well was an understatement, I miss her, I always will, but there is nothing I can do to change it.

A couple of days after Lillian bought Kingston, I was still depressed, so she offered to get me a job at a local pet clinic, I of course excepted and I thankfully did get the job, sure I was at the bottom of the food chain there, I cleaned the bathrooms, mopped the floors, and all of that fun stuff, but I got promoted thankfully, now I hand the tools to the lady that checks the animals, and once and awhile I'll take the animals into a room check their heartbeat, then I will send a vet in, I'm pretty happy with that.

Jason and I earned enough money to buy an apartment, so now we are living together, which isn't to bad, I usually do the cooking, and he will do the cleaning, but sometimes we switch jobs, I love it so far.

We have most the dogs away, all we have left are Maya, Duce, and Aqua, but I'm happy with that, and since I work at the clinic shots and food are 50% off, which makes all of the difference.

Today was the day of my moms funeral, and I have to give this speech about her, and how she will be missed, and all of that, being honest, I'm nervous, what if I mess up, huh... I miss her so much.

"Hey you okay?" Jason says interrupting me from my thoughts.

"Um, yeah." I say.

"Look I know you miss your mom, but it's gonna be okay, that freak that touched you, is in prison, the only hard thing left to do is this funeral, then your home free."

"Yeah your right, I just have to get through today, and then I'm free." I say.

"Okay well, finish getting ready we have to go in twenty minutes."

"Okay." I say, as I pec his cheek.

I put on a black dress that went just above my knee, and I did my makeup and styled my hair.

"Lauren! You ready? We have to go!" Jason yells to me from another room.

"Coming!" I yell back. I looked at myself in the mirror, and whispered.

"You can do this." Then quickly left the room and leaving the house making sure to lock up.

By the time we were at the funeral home about half the people were already there.

A lot of people came up to saying the usual 'Im so sorry' or a 'Oh my, I haven't seen you in ages' kind of deal, but before I knew it, it was my turn to say my speech.

I slowly walked up to the podium and looked out to everyone, I suddenly got a little nervous.

"Um, my mom, she was the best person I had ever known, she would always know how to make someone laugh, she always fixed people's problems, she was really generous, always donating to charities, or sending money to families that needed it, she was always smiling, she was your best friend, and your shoulder to cry on, she was the best mom I could have asked for really, she even gave me fashion advice hear and there." Some people laughed. "but most importantly she was there for her children even if she only had one, I was brought up pretty well, and I wouldn't have traded it to have it any other way, thanks mom for always looking out for me, I'm sure you still are, thank you." I walked off the little platform and sat next to Jason as I watched the priest bless the body.

We traveled about thirty minutes to get to the nearest grave yard when we got there the body was lifted up by four boys, then set gently into a hole in the ground, they then started to fill the hole with dirt, I could feel little wet drops going down my cheek, I was really hoping I wasn't gonna cry, but I couldn't help it.

I snuggles do into Jason as a few tears escaped my eyes.

"You did great, the speech was really good." Jason says.

"Thanks."

We had got home about five minutes ago, and Lillian decided to come and visit.

"Lillian want something to eat?"

"I'm fine thank you."

A/N Hey guys I'm gonna rant now, so sit back grab some popcorn and enjoy.

So I was on my way to my cabin per usual it's a two hour drive and I'm happy and stuff when we finally get there because hey I've been stuck in the car for two hours.

But then we get there and low and behold there is a notice on the door.

'To the renter of this cabin, the owners have been kicked of the property, since they no longer own the cabins you may no longer rent, to anyone on this property you will be seen as a trespasser.'

They kicked us out of our cabin and we aren't even aloud on the property, the worse part is we already paid for the cabin.

2 grand, 2 grand we paid two grand to rent the cabin for the summer, and we can't even stay there.

Like who the fuck do these people think they are.

Well now we are staying at my parents friend house, oh joy.

AHHHHHHH I'm so pissed.

Well thanks for listening to my rant guys and like usual.

Have a great day and an even better tomorrow.💋
