Lauren's P.O.V

I've never had dreams as awful as that, probably because I've never been in this situation, Gods I wish Jason never came, I would be like this, I wouldn't be threatened by these dreams, but what if Jason didn't come here, what if he didn't find me, I would still be sad, talking to my rabbits, eating apples every single day, in a way I guess I am happy he came here, I'm happy that for once in so long someone understands me. There is still that one chance though, what if he trades me in, I trust him and all but..... what if, what if he doesn't care about me at all, what if he's just playing with me to get what he wants, what if.....

"Lauren?" Jason says breaking me from my thoughts.

I look up to make eye contact with him.
"Yes?" I respond.

"Are you okay?" He asks, sitting on the ground beside me.

"Do you want me to be honest, it do you want me to sugar coat it?"

"Honest."

"I hate being here, Jason, I hate being in a world where only one person knows I'm alive, I'm tired of being scared, I'm tired of thinking what if, I'm tired of living Jay, In tired of everything, I-I want to go home, but I can't because if I do he will hurt everyone I love in this world, and I can't let that happen, my mom, Kate, you, he'll hurt everyone, and I can't stop him, I'm scared that I'm going to lose you..."

He didn't respond for awhile, but when he did his voice was laced with concern.

"Your not going to lose anyone, you know what, lets go, lets go home, we will report him, and his ass will be thrown in jail, rape, murder, hell he'd gonna be in there for life, let go."

"Okay." I simply responded, "we leave tomorrow, right when we wake up."

The day went by fast Jason turned on the radio, and we danced, the dogs I think even tried to dance with us, it was a good day, knowing I might be able to see my mom again, I wonder if she has a boyfriend, a great one, one that says good morning when you wake up, when your sad he'll ask you if you want to go out for some ice cream, when I tell him I have a boyfriend he will ask him to talk privately, which really means he's gonna kill him if he hurts me.

Maybe I can bring some of the dogs with me, but what about James I wouldn't be able to bring him, he's a wolf, we will have to release him.

Later that day James wondered off, like he knew it was time, he was chasing a deer, hunting it, I will remember him, and I'll always know it was him when I see him as I tied the rest of the pink ribbon around one of his legs.

The rest of that day went by in a blur of us laughing and having a good day, the dogs running around barking and howling, having a good time of their own.

Night was approaching so we started a fire, still listening to the radio, as time of our lives came on.

"I kinda like this song." I say to Jason.

"Me too."

I knew my rent was gon' be late about a week ago
I worked my ass off, but I still can't pay it though

As the song ended a list of ads came through the radio, I just smiled, the next song came on but I didn't listen to in I was just focused on the fire, I wish I could always be this happy, wow in depressing....

Jason turned the radio off and we put the fire out and went to bed.

I woke up to Jason packing some apples in my backpack, and some oranges in his, he slowly and quietly moved around the cave packing all of our things, and lastly my bow and arrows.

"Hey." I whisper in my sleepy voice. "why are you up? The sun isn't even up yet."

"I didn't want you packing anything, so I decided to get up extremely early, and well pack."

"Awe thanks." I got up and went outside the cave. "You want to watch the sunrise?"

"Sure."

As we sit outside we watch the sun slowly rise, the sky turned from dark blue, to pink and orange, to a light blue.

I decided it was time to get a move on, so we got all of the dogs, released the rabbits, and took one look back at the cave and made our way home, it would be a couple hours until we got there.

I'll be honest I'll miss it here, but it was time to go.

Omg finally updated!! Sorry for the long wait, I just wanted to get a chapter done, but I couldn't because I had hella hard writers block, I'm going on my grad trip on Tuesday!! Grade nine soon!! Schools almost over, which means more updates!! Yay

I will be stopping secret plans for a while and I'll give an update when I want to start it up again.
