I placed the letter among todays pile of mail, feeling contented with myself for being this secretive.

My left wrist begun to itch as I reached over to scratch.

But Michael just had to walk through the door, causing me to jump up.

He must've seen me because I could here footsteps pounding after me as I dashed to my room.

"Luke," he pleaded.

I ran past my door, turning around to close it.

"Ow"

I looked down at the partly closed door, the foot preventing it from closing.

"That was worth it, if you let me talk to you." He winced as he pushed the door open, releasing his foot, and walking in.

I huffed and closed the door behind him.

"You're very stubborn, you know that?" He chuckled.

I glared at him.

I was not going to talk to him.

My phone rings and Michael reaches over to grab it.

His eyes widen as he turns the phone screen to face me.

"Why would Kyles be calling you?" He asked.

He even has a nickname for her.

"She's... my friend?" I shrugged, grabbing my phone from him and rejecting the call.

"Why didn't you answer it?' He asked.

"You wanted to talk to me. You have until the people in the next room come out." I say.

They were asleep..  so he probably has a long time.

He smiles at me, i don't smile back.

"Okay... umm.. so I have something to tell you.." he rushes out.

"You kind of said that already." I groan, my tone dripping with sarcasm.

He stares at me.

I wave my hand infront of his face but he doesn't respond.

My lips part as I prepare to speak but I am silenced when a pair of soft lips come into contact with mine.

My eyes flutter close as I savoured the feeling.

Only... when I opened my eyes again, he was gone.

The room was cold.

And... Once again.

I was alone.
