Taehyung was still caught up on his thoughts despite that it's already been two weeks since the last gathering they had. "Maybe trying wouldn't hurt..." he mumbled to himself still uncertain but eventually he sighed and looked at the door in front of him, He knocked on the door before he could even come in. "Taehyung-ah! Took you so long?" Hoseok greeted jokingly while he was resting at his bed— still beaming those big smiles even when he's not in great shape.
Hoseok is unfortunately confined at the hospital because he went over fatigue and ending up a strain on his ankle gaining him to take a serious bed rest cause of the incident, it's been 3 days when he started to be confined and it's the first day that Taehyung is visiting him.
"Yeah, but I got some of the snacks that you asked." Taehyung went near to the older one as he shows some snacks inside the bag that he bought earlier from the convenience store. "Ohhh~ as expected from our Taehyung, Thank you!" Hoseok chuckled to the younger while he starts to open some of the snacks already.
Taehyung squinted his eyes while he was looking at his Hyung, Hoseok noticed and looked at him curiously, he suddenly feels that he already knows what Taehyung is already thinking "What? I'm a superstar, I have the privileged to be hurt." Taehyung slowly shakes his head "You have just outdone yourself in a painful way, Hobi hyung" even though Taehyung just backfired his Hyung. His voice was still evident about being worried.
Hoseok tends to be stubborn sometimes especially when it comes to his endurance in dancing. He will most likely push every button of his if it's about something he should take seriously, as his profession, But it's not like every time he is like this— just once in a blue moon when he's honestly not satisfied with the outcome of his work. This is his living and passion at the same time, it gives him more reason why he can't help but be a perfectionist when he knows many people are supporting him and having that he doesn't want to disappoint them. Though this is Hoseok's first time to be in this particular situation.
Hoseok patted his friend's shoulder trying to make Taehyung to feel not bad and reassured. "Don't worry. Everything went smoothly, and the doctor said I just need lots and lots of rest, I'll be fine soon— as always!" he winked as he finishes his sentence, The younger one immediately infected about Hoseok's happy virus and made him smile, giving him the chance to nod indicating that he believes in his Hyung.
Taehyung was about to leave Hoseok's room but before that, he felt mother nature is calling him "Hyung, I'll use your toilet." He mentioned while he straightway walks to the toilet— after doing his business he heard someone is in the room and It's was a doctor, probably Hoseok's doctor. The doctor looked at him and greeted him giving him a small bow while he gave out a smile, Taehyung did the same thing to the guy.
He looks familiar
He could only think when he saw the guy checking up Hoseok's condition. When the doctor finished his annual check-up he bid goodbye to Hoseok and slowly looked at Taehyung while he bid as well— the gaze he gave to Taehyung was like giving the feeling that he also knew him
But only Taehyung couldn't point his finger out on it, on where has he seen the guy before— he was tempted to ask him if they had met before but the doctor already marched out the room.
"You look bothered" Hoseok pointed out affecting Taehyung to wake up and look at him "He looks familiar to me." He confessed to his Hyung. "Oh, you mean Doctor Ahn Yunoh?" When Taehyung heard the name he involuntary made the mental note to himself to remember the name.
Nonetheless, nothing came up when he kept on trying to remember where he has seen that Guy Doctor "Well, maybe I'm just being delusional, Anyway Hyung I'll be on my way." He added while he waved his hand, Hoseok smiled "You should take care okay? You guys should all visit me here okay?!" He shouted at Taehyung when he is approaching at the door "Will do Hyung! Take care!"
He's now roaming around the hospital corridor but stopped when he saw a familiar figure "Oh? Taehyung?" he was surprised to see Sierra walking towards him "What brings you here? Is everything okay? Are you hurt?" Immediately bombarded by questions. He smiled at her and shakes his head "I'm fine, everything is fine. I was just visiting a friend." He affirmed to her to not make her worry— well for him it felt like she was worried.
But totally forgot about that this was the Hospital that she's working, He could only mentally slap his forehead— however, his thoughts were up to him anyways in the past two weeks you can't blame the guy though.
"You look great on your outfit" he complimented all of a sudden, Sierra rose her eyebrows not expecting such words coming out from him so suddenly "Why thank you?" she laughs shyly— obviously taken aback but appreciated his kind words. Even Taehyung was surprised on his sudden confession but she does look good on that white coat of hers, she looks a fine professional lady.
"Are you busy? Do you mind joining me at a café?" changing the subject by asking her out, quite tactful for him to take actions to disregard on what awkward situation he just committed. "I don't mind at all, I'm apparently on my break" Taehyung smiled at her and nodded at her response. "Great!"
They went inside at a nearby café and ordered two drinks, Sierra already took the chance to take a seat and she was followed by the lad. They've started to catch up on recent thing which ends up being a light update to each other— just indulging the chill talk.
The conversation carries on smoothly, tucking itself into every available space, and Sierra's got to admit that not only is Taehyung not bad at holding a conversation, he's also a decent listener and listens quietly when necessary. Though suddenly someone interrupted them— actually it was more like someone greeted Sierra.
"Yunoh" suddenly Sierra blurted out while she gave a sheepish smile to the guy who called her out "I forgot to tell you, there will be a meeting later with the others." Sierra unconsciously childlike nodded at him "Noted."
Yunoh gazed at her smilingly but shifted when he remembers there's someone else besides them. Both of him and Taehyung once again gave each other a small bow but they stared at each other competently— as if it was like Yunoh was slightly challenging the fellow if he would look away first. Though Taehyung's face shows confusion he didn't look away triggering Yunoh to grin a little, while he finally bid his goodbye to continue his way.
During the time Yunoh walked away, Taehyung suddenly remembered where he saw him. He's the man with Sierra before when he was about to pick her up from the seminar in Daegu, Despite what just happened Taehyung senses were tingling.
Something's odd between Yunoh and Sierra and he could feel it but didn't dare to ask her, then again maybe next time he will when his curiosity got the best of him.
